Zendaya has revealed she believes the third season of Euphoria will be the last.
The popular, Emmy-winning show, featuring stars like Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, and Hunter Schafer, will be back for its third season on April 13th on Sky Atlantic and NOW.
During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show to discuss her new movie and the upcoming season of Euphoria, Zendaya hinted that season 3 might be the last, responding with, “I think so, yeah.”
Drew Barrymore mentioned she appreciated understanding the show’s overall plan before a possible last season, and Zendaya agreed, saying that a satisfying conclusion is on the way.
Zendaya also shared how much pride she feels for her work on the show, explaining that it has been a deeply emotional experience for her.
She shared that working on the show and playing Rue had a profound impact on her, teaching her valuable lessons about life, empathy, and understanding. She’s incredibly thankful for the experiences and the people she grew up with on set, and feels deeply indebted to the show itself.
HBO has yet to confirm whether season 3 will be the show’s last.

Since the show first aired in 2019, many of its actors have become very popular, making it difficult to coordinate schedules. Because of this, and the four-year gap between seasons two and three, many fans and critics believe the upcoming third season will be the show’s last.
Season 3 begins five years later, following the events of season 2 where Nate (Jacob Elordi) reported his father, Cal (the late Eric Dane), to the police, and Rue was unable to pay off her drug debt to Laurie (Martha Kelly).
A recent trailer offered a glimpse of the new season, showing Rue in Mexico still owing money to Laurie. Meanwhile, Cassie and Nate have gotten married and are now living a suburban life.
Chloe Cherry, Dominic Fike, Nika King, and Colman Domingo will be back for season 3. Joining them are new cast members Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Natasha Lyonne, Rosalía, Marshawn Lynch, Sam Trammell, and Asante Blackk.
You can watch seasons 1 and 2 of Euphoria on Sky Atlantic and NOW with an Entertainment Membership.
