Jessi Draper is prioritizing her inner peace.
After recently separating from her husband, Jordan Ngatikaura, star of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has been open about her mental health and the work she’s doing to improve it.
She described going through a divorce as a strange and difficult experience, especially because it’s her second one. In a video posted to Instagram on April 6th, she explained that each divorce has been different, and navigating it while raising children adds a whole new layer of complexity. She admitted to feeling genuinely lost right now.
Jessi, who shares children Jagger and Jovi with her ex-husband Jordan and also helped raise his daughter Peyton, says starting this new phase of her life feels like releasing old habits and patterns she developed over the course of her two marriages.
She admitted she’s struggling with some habits and tendencies she doesn’t like and is actively trying to change them. But she also wants to enjoy being single and have fun.
The 33-year-old explained she wants to heal properly, so she’s making dedicated time for the process.
She explained she was attending a four-day therapy retreat this weekend and felt optimistic about it. She hoped to both enjoy herself and process the sadness and difficulty of her divorce, acknowledging that even though it’s the right decision, it’s still a painful experience.

She explained that she’s doing her best to navigate a difficult time and is focused on personal growth. She’s actively working on healing, including going to therapy, to avoid repeating past mistakes. She believes that most errors people make stem from underlying pain.
As she gets used to her new life, the reality star is thankful for the continued support of her fans.
She ended by thanking everyone for their support and kindness. She said she truly appreciates it and is looking forward to sharing her experiences navigating divorce and single motherhood, knowing many others can understand what she’s going through. She finished by saying she loves her followers.
Jessi shared that the days surrounding Jordan’s divorce filing on March 19th were incredibly difficult for her, some of the lowest points in her life, and made even harder by the public attention on their breakup.
It feels strange when everyone seems to have an opinion about what’s happening in your life and the choices you make. It’s especially difficult when you mess up or do something you regret – I admit I’ve been making some questionable decisions lately. It’s just odd to have people constantly commenting on everything you do. I knew this would come with the territory, but it’s really unsettling when you’re already dealing with a tough emotional time and everyone else is watching and reacting along with you.
Jessi recently turned heads when she kissed the ex-husband of her colleague, Miranda Hope, named Chase McWhorter. However, she’s now saying she’s committed to addressing the situation and working through any issues it may cause.

She explained that she’s doing her best to navigate a difficult time and is focused on personal growth. She’s actively working on healing, including going to therapy, to avoid repeating past mistakes. She believes that most errors people make stem from underlying pain, and she wants to address that in herself.
As she settles into her new life, the reality star is thankful for the continued support of her fans.
She ended by saying, “Thank you all so much for your kindness and support. I truly appreciate it, and I’m looking forward to sharing my experiences navigating divorce and motherhood as a single parent – I know many of you will understand. Sending you all my love.”

Among the supportive comments, costar Taylor Frankie Paul shared an encouraging message, having recently been open about her own experiences with mental health.
Taylor shared that some things can only be truly understood by going through them, allowing you to connect with and support others. She expressed her unwavering support, saying she’s there for her friend even during difficult moments.
To find out what’s happening in the relationships of Jessi and the other women from Mormon Wives, keep reading.

Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen began dating while on the reality show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and had a son, Ever, together in 2024. However, their relationship ended because Dakota was unfaithful.
Taylor shared on the second episode of her Hulu series that shortly after her daughter Ever was born, she and her boyfriend, Dakota, were very happy and she was even thinking about getting engaged. However, she then discovered he had been dishonest with her the entire time.
Let me tell you, navigating relationships in the public eye is tough. Recently, there were some pretty serious accusations made against Taylor – a woman named Jenna claimed she’d been with him and Dakota, even saying it happened multiple times. Now, Taylor has strongly denied these claims. He actually addressed it directly on TikTok back in September of 2024, stating very clearly that he never cheated. It just goes to show you, what you read isn’t always the full story, and it’s important to hear things directly from the source when possible.
On the series, Taylor said that Dakota accused Jenna of instigating their affair.
She told the interviewer, “It was definitely him.” He admitted to kissing her on the couch, but it went further than that. They became intimate on the couch, and then continued in another room.”

After her breakup with the founder of Basin Tiling, the mother of three (including two children with her former husband, Tate Paul) was preparing to look for love again on season 22 of The Bachelorette. However, things became complicated in March 2026 when reports surfaced of a possible argument between her and her ex-husband a few weeks prior.
A representative from the Draper City Police Department told People magazine they are investigating a reported domestic assault. According to the police, both individuals involved have accused each other of wrongdoing.
After a video from a 2023 fight between Taylor and Dakota appeared online, ABC canceled Taylor’s season on the dating show.

Whitney Leavitt married Connor Leavitt in 2016, and he’s become her perfect life partner. Together, they have three children – Sedona, Liam, and Billy – and have worked through challenges while living their lives in the public eye.
For instance, the Dancing With the Stars alum had to shut down rumors about her husband’s sexuality.
She jokingly asked if she needed to resort to extreme measures to prove things were okay, saying, “Like, do I need to put out a sex tape?” She then reassured listeners, “We’re good. Everything’s fine,” during an October 2024 appearance on the Off the Vine podcast.
Okay, so listen, it’s complicated, but basically, he was dealing with some really private stuff, and I know you haven’t heard about this, but he battled a porn addiction. It was awful. And honestly, there’s this one scene – my friend says something, and it just nails how lost and confused he was about… well, everything sexual. It was so insightful, and it totally explained so much about his behavior. It was heartbreaking, honestly, but it made everything click.
Despite facing challenges, the reality star shared that she and her husband, Connor, are more solid as a couple than ever before. They proved their commitment by renewing their wedding vows in February 2026, celebrating their tenth anniversary.
Conner shared with Brides that he and his partner married young. He explained that while their wedding day was special for them as a couple, it also felt like a celebration for their families. They wanted to create a uniquely personal experience, and they felt this was a really enjoyable way to do it.

Jen and Zac Affleck, who are married and not related to Ben Affleck despite what people say, have been dealing with breakup rumors since 2019, almost from the start of their marriage.
Let me tell you, a big moment in their relationship played out on screen during the first season – it all started after Jen went to a Chippendales show in Vegas! It caused a real rift, but thankfully they worked through it. They’re devoted parents to Nora, Penelope, and Lucas, and she later really stood up for their love and commitment, which was lovely to see. It just goes to show, even strong couples have their moments!
Jen explained to TopMob News in November 2025 that constantly hearing the same rumors was exhausting. She said she’s accepted that people will always talk and share their opinions, but feels it’s especially frustrating for the person at the center of the speculation when others don’t recognize the hard work and effort he’s putting in privately.
She and Zac are prioritizing what’s most important to them. She explained that it’s still a challenge for him to ignore outside distractions and focus on their relationship.

As a longtime follower, I was really shocked to hear about the trouble brewing between Jessi Draper and Jordan Ngatikaura. It seemed like they were trying to work things out, but then Jessi confessed to an emotional connection with Marciano Brunette from Vanderpump Villa, and things clearly took a turn. It’s been a really difficult time for them after five years of marriage.
I was so thrilled to hear that Jessi and Jordan are giving things another shot! She told TopMob News back in November 2025 that they’re working on their relationship, and honestly, that’s all I needed to hear. She’s right – things aren’t always easy, especially when you share kids like Jagger and Jovi. She said it’s going to take time to rebuild things, and it won’t be a quick fix, but I’m so hopeful for them. It’s just great to see them trying to make it work!
Unfortunately, the couple’s attempt to reconcile didn’t last. Jordan, who also has a daughter named Peyton from a previous relationship, filed for divorce in March 2026, ending their five-year marriage.
A few days later, Jessi expressed surprise and said she hadn’t expected him to file the paperwork so quickly. She believed he prioritized getting media attention over everything else.
She said she was upset to learn the news, explaining that she and her husband had planned to tell their children together before officially separating, but hadn’t had the chance. TopMob contacted Jordan’s lawyers for a statement, but they haven’t responded yet.

Mayci never thought she’d find love again, especially not with Jacob Neeley. After her boyfriend, Arik Mack, unexpectedly passed away in 2015, she braced herself for life as a single mother, as she was already 14 weeks pregnant with their son, Hudson.
But it all changed when she met Jacob in 2016 at age 21, whom she would marry two years later.
In her memoir, Told You So, Mayci explained that she was hesitant to trust anyone after difficult experiences, but she and Jacob connected quickly. They stayed friends for a while, and because it wasn’t a romantic relationship, she was comfortable with him getting to know her son.
She explained that Jacob was wonderful with him, and that made him even more appealing. After four months, despite being afraid of getting hurt again, she couldn’t ignore her feelings. He was a kind, funny person who made her feel secure.
Mayci and Jacob went on to welcome daughters Harlow in 2021 and Charli in 2025.

Demi Engemann married Bret Engemann in 2021, following her divorce from Blake Corbin the previous year. Their relationship, which unfolded on a reality TV show, gained attention when Whitney gave Demi Fruity Pebbles, leading to discussions about their intimate life becoming a central part of the show’s storyline.
Jessi revealed in a November 2025 Instagram post that her grandfather, Bret, has a bizarre habit: he drinks her urine as if it were a soft drink, consuming it quickly like water. This explained the strange gift she’d previously received.
Demi and Bret aren’t upset about the past—whether it involves revealed secrets or embarrassing moments. In fact, Demi told Entertainment Tonight in December that they’ve decided to embrace everything that’s happened and just enjoy life together.
Despite some public discussion about their intimate life, the couple is happily adjusting to life as a blended family. Demi has a daughter named Maude from a previous relationship, and Bret has two sons, Rome and Cole, with Angie Harrington, who is known from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
In June 2024, Demi shared on Instagram how incredibly devoted her partner is to his children. She praised him for being a loving and dedicated father and stepfather to Maude, and expressed excitement about their future as parents together. She was especially amazed by his consistent loyalty and dedication, even when facing life’s challenges.

I’ve been following Mikayla and Jace’s story for years, and it’s amazing to see how far they’ve come! They first connected back in 2015 when Mikayla was just 15, and then welcomed their adorable son, Beckham, in 2017. They clearly knew they had something special, and got married in 2018. Since then, their family has grown with the arrival of Haven, Tommie, and little Lottie. It’s been so lovely watching their family blossom!
Mikayla and Jace are enjoying raising their four children, but Mikayla has expressed a desire to have more kids in the future.
In an interview with People magazine in February 2025, she shared that she’s always pictured having three or four children, though she wouldn’t rule out having six. She’s also looking forward to moving to a new house with plenty of land for her future family.
In the ninth episode of the show’s fourth season, Mikayla revealed that she and Jace were separating temporarily because they were having difficulties with their physical relationship.
Mikayla’s marriage suffered as she started to deal with the painful memories of sexual abuse she experienced as a teenager, and as her ongoing health condition worsened with increased stress.
Talking about sex or intimacy is really difficult for me,” she told Jace. “It feels overwhelming because I’m already constantly on edge and stressed. I just don’t have the capacity to deal with it right now.”

Layla Taylor and Clayton Wessel, parents of Oliver and Maxwell, got divorced in 2023. Layla then hinted at a new relationship with Mason McWhorter in July 2025.
Their relationship looked confusing when you wrote it all out. Here’s the deal: Mason’s brother, Chase McWhorter, is divorced from Miranda McWhorter, who works with Layla. Despite the complicated family ties, they were both ready to see if their relationship could work.
Layla shared with Us in November 2025 that she’s not quite ready for marriage right now, but she’s open to building a deep connection with someone first. She’s currently very happy with Mason, and if marriage ever becomes a possibility for them, they’ll discuss it then.
Unfortunately, the mom of two confirmed that she and Mason had split in February 2026.
Layla explained that she and her partner were simply heading in different directions, and he needed space to grow as an individual. She said she understands and respects his choice, and wishes him all the best.

Miranda joined the show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives in its second season and quickly became central to the widely discussed “soft swinging scandal” involving MomTok personalities. However, despite the controversy with Taylor, Miranda has stated that this wasn’t the cause of her divorce from Chase in 2024.
She explained on the Weekly Trash podcast in August 2024 that the reasons for their breakup had been building for a long time. While recent events might not have helped, she emphasized they weren’t a factor in the decision to split.
Nonetheless, she and Chase have been committed to parenting their kids Brooks and Cohen.
I’ve been thinking a lot about coparenting, and it’s definitely something you constantly have to nurture. It’s funny, but it makes sense – if things had been absolutely perfect between us all the time, we likely wouldn’t have ended up divorced in the first place. It’s not about finding a ‘fix,’ but understanding that some level of difficulty was probably always there.
“The thing with him and I,” she continued, “we’ve always had a pretty good foundation of a friendship prior to even having a romantic relationship. I feel like that’s something that set us up for some level of success when it comes to co-parenting.”
