Jason Segel Reacts to Harrison Ford Complimenting His “Great D–k”

Jason Segel isn’t shrinking from this compliment.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Harrison Ford made a surprisingly suggestive comment to Jason about his physique. Jason later shared that this wasn’t the first time his Shrinking co-star had made a similar remark.

The actor playfully suggested his physique was one of the reasons Harrison agreed to the Apple TV+ show.

Jason shared that when they considered Harrison Ford for the role, a lot of the initial offer was simply for bragging rights – knowing they’d approached a legend, even if he turned it down, allowing them to then cast someone else. Ford, however, wasn’t immediately dismissive; he asked to see some materials about the project and the character before making a decision.

To show Harrison Ford some of Jason Segel’s work, they sent him two of Jason’s movies, End of the Tour and Forgetting Sarah Marshall, for him to watch. Forgetting Sarah Marshall includes a scene with full-frontal nudity from Jason.

Jason remembered watching them, and then they waited—a long time—for a response. Finally, they received a text message saying, ‘I’m in. The child is a talented actor. Also, tell him he did a great job.’

 

You know, I’ve always said that leading by example is everything, and I recently heard something that really drove that home. Someone was talking about Harrison Ford – a guy who truly doesn’t have to do anything – and how he chooses to be incredibly supportive of his colleagues. It’s amazing how quickly that sets the tone. When someone with that kind of stature prioritizes teamwork and lifting others up, it inspires everyone around them to do the same. It really reinforces my belief that a positive, collaborative spirit starts at the top.

In fact, the significance of this time with the storied actor is not lost on Jason. 

My confession sparked loud laughter from the audience and Jimmy, who jokingly wondered if Jason had somehow made the compliment legendary.

He jokingly added, “If you don’t think that picture is positioned right in front of the toilet… sometimes I just need someone to tell me it looks okay.”

Even though their collaboration began with a playful joke, Jason realized how much he’d gained from working with Harrison on the show Shrinking.

Jason said that the actor immediately commands attention when he enters a room, but from the start, he emphasized being a collaborative team player. He reportedly asked, ‘How can I help build this show, and what can I do to contribute?’

He went on to explain that when a major star like Harrison Ford chooses to act a certain way – showing up however he pleases – it sets a tone, and everyone else tends to follow suit, adopting the same attitude of prioritizing support for one another.

In fact, the significance of this time with the storied actor is not lost on Jason. 

As he put it, “It’s truly the honor of my career to get to do scenes with him.”

Jennifer described a scene with Sala Baker where the director, Pete Berg, instructed her to realistically attempt to survive, even telling her to try to ‘kill’ her during the unchoreographed sequence.

She continued, explaining that they both jumped into action, and she ended up climbing onto his back. She even bit his ear – they have a photo to prove it, showing a piece missing! They weren’t messing around.

 

Ghouls just want to have fun.

During an October 2022 episode of The View, while discussing a woman who claimed her home was haunted by “sexual ghosts,” Sara Haines posed a surprising question to her co-hosts: “Is it possible to get pregnant from a ghost?”

Luckily, Joy Behar, her co-host, chimed in with a humorous response: “I’ve had encounters with ghosts and never gotten pregnant.”

“I’m going to leave that statement as is,” Whoopi Goldberg responded. “I’m not sure everyone heard what Joy said, but I won’t comment further on it.”

Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb are very close friends, but Hoda recently learned something surprising about her “Today” co-host. While preparing for an episode of “Today with Hoda and Jenna,” Hoda found out that Jenna always goes without underwear.

Hoda Kotb recalled a funny moment on Today with Hoda and Jenna from November 2022. They both needed to quickly change outfits and had to go back to the dressing room, but Hoda realized Jenna Bush Hager doesn’t wear underwear.

Jenna’s rationale? Well, no underwear might just be more convenient to her.

Britney shared a funny video from March featuring Pete Davidson—who was dating Kim Kardashian at the time—and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex, Scott Disick, having a night out. She said the video had her laughing a lot.

Britney apologized for sharing a video, explaining she didn’t know the people in it but found it hilarious. She has since removed the post.

Before Chris Evans became famous as Captain America and was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2022, Jana Kramer dated him and thought he was a really cute heartthrob.

The singer shared on her podcast, Whine Down with Jana Kramer, that this happened over ten years ago. While she doesn’t remember exactly how many times they went out, she clearly remembers their final meeting.

Jana, who was around 26 at the time, said Chris asked her to come over when he had visitors from Boston.

Jana recalled that the last thing she remembered was her partner going to the bathroom right after she’d eaten asparagus, which changes the smell of your urine. They didn’t spend the night together. He stayed up late with friends, and the next morning, Jana left his house feeling embarrassed – what she jokingly called the ‘asparagus walk of shame’.

She added, “I never heard from him again.”

Not all of these confessions are amusing.

In December, television writer Elisabeth Finch confessed that she had fabricated a story about having a rare form of bone cancer. She originally shared this false diagnosis with ELLE magazine eight years prior, and it even became the basis for a plotline on Grey’s Anatomy.

Elisabeth recently shared with The Ankler newsletter that a lie she told at age 34 was the biggest regret of her life. She explained that the lie grew over time and became a heavy burden. She also clarified that she has never been diagnosed with cancer.

Finch, who was temporarily removed from his role on the ABC medical show before ultimately quitting, admitted, “I messed up. It was wrong, unacceptable, and a complete mistake.”

Beauty is pain, but Kim Kardashian might be able to stomach it.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe what she told The New York Times! She basically said she’d do anything to stay looking young. Anything! It’s amazing, honestly. She’s so dedicated, she’s willing to try absolutely everything! I’m obsessed with how committed she is to looking her best.

She admitted in June that she’d even consider something extreme – like eating feces daily – if it meant she could look younger. She emphasized she was seriously considering it.

Kim told Allure in July 2022 that she was mostly kidding when she made the comment, but admitted it wasn’t a completely awful idea.

Kim thought for a moment and then said, ‘Honestly, I’d probably eat something awful if someone promised it would make me look younger—even if it meant eating a bowl of poop every day.’

Asked how much she could eat, she said, “Perhaps just a small bite.” She added that a full bowl would be too much for her.

Jelly Roll could’ve used some saving from himself.

During an April 2025 interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the singer of “Save Me” shared a particularly embarrassing story, and he didn’t shy away from the details.

“I pooped myself one time,” he admitted. “I did, I’m sorry.”

To be honest, Jelly Roll (whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord) didn’t intend to cause such serious harm.

He firmly believed it was just a misunderstanding. “I sincerely apologize,” he said. “I saw the audience turn from supportive to completely against me.”
