PlayStation fans have a new reason to be excited! Sony is launching The Playerbase, a program designed to connect its most dedicated players with its top games, starting with Gran Turismo 7.
Here’s how the program works: You can apply starting today using your PlayStation ID and some extra details. If you’re selected, you’ll have a video interview with Sony where they’ll ask you about your experiences with PlayStation games. It’s a great opportunity to talk about your favorite games with the people who make them!
If you’re selected, your portrait will appear in Gran Turismo 7 as a playable character, just like the others in the game. You’ll also get to create a unique Fantasy Logo and design custom body kits for a wide variety of vehicles.
Don’t worry if you weren’t selected this time. Gran Turismo 7 is only the first step for The Playerbase, and Sony plans to include players in testing for more games from PlayStation Studios in the future. You can find all the details in the official announcement here.
