COLOPL has announced that Kazuma Kaneko’s Tsukuyomi, a premium deckbuilding game based on Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter, will include a collaboration with Capcom’s Devil May Cry 5.
Here are the details:
Midway through the game, players will face off against the famous Devil Hunters – Dante, Nero, and Vergil. Whether you fight them depends on the decisions you make. These skilled warriors are incredibly powerful and each have their own unique attacks. Though the battles will be tough, winning will grant you significant rewards.
When players win battles, the Devil Hunters become powerful allies called “Jinma,” joining Tsukuyomi and letting players experience the exciting action of Devil May Cry 5 through card strategy. Each character’s special card abilities are based on their skills and personality from the original game.
- Dante (“Stylish Rank”) – The more hits dealt to the enemy within a single turn, the higher the rank increases, which in turn boosts the attack power of the cards in your hand.
- Nero (“Exceed”) – By leaving this card in your hand when ending a turn, Nero’s attack power can be significantly increased up to three stages.
- Vergil (“Concentration”) – Attack power gradually increases up to ten stages each time a combo card effect is activated.
During battles, Devil Hunters can unlock even more power with their “Devil Trigger” or “Sin Devil Trigger,” making their cards even stronger. Players can also collect each character’s iconic weapon as a special attack item called “Divine Gear.” These items, like Dante’s Devil Sword Sparda, Nero’s Red Queen, and Vergil’s Yamato, will boost the abilities of their corresponding character cards.
Kazuma Kaneko’s Tsukuyomi is due out for Switch on April 23.
