They met Fox McCloud, and he offered his help in exchange for money. However, he soon proved to be a valuable teammate, using his expert flying skills to rescue them during dangerous air battles with Bowser Jr.’s army.
Fox McCloud’s introduction is memorable because he quickly explained his entire history – telling Princess Peach and Toad he leads the Star Fox Team – before unexpectedly falling through a dimensional rift and ending up in the Mario universe.
