In a fresh 10-minute exploration of Bloober Team’s upcoming survival horror game, titled Cronos: The New Dawn, the atmosphere reminiscent of Dead Space is strongly present.
Hailing from the same creative team that delivered an outstanding remake of last year’s Silent Hill 2, the Polish studio is now embarking on a project that leans slightly towards action in the survival horror genre. During the gameplay demonstration, Bloober Team leads viewers through Sector A-0.
In a far-off time, only those known as Travelers will be equipped with extraordinary devices that allow them to traverse areas where physical laws have collapsed entirely. The gameplay showcases this concept through scenes where the protagonist can draw objects or terrain towards themselves, and by utilizing special luminescent pads, they are able to move not just along floors, but also on walls and ceilings as well.

Although the specific launch date for Cronos: The New Dawn on PS5 hasn’t been pinned down yet, it’s set to drop later in 2021. Some other media sources are planning to reveal their hands-on previews next week, so we might learn the official release date then.
