Amanda Batula and West Wilson are taking their fling to the city.
A quick, surprising interaction between Summer House castmates was shown in the trailer for the new Bravo series, In the City, released on April 7th.
In a preview clip, Amanda—who recently began dating West after separating from her husband, Kyle Cooke—greeted him with a playful “Hey, cutie.” He responded with a simple, “Hey, Mandy.”
Cue the friendly hug. Or was it more than that?
Meanwhile, the teaser also featured the real-time demise of Amanda and Kyle’s marriage
“Were you in the apartment last night while I was sleeping?” the 34-year-old asked Kyle. “And how many times have you been unfaithful to me?”
The conflict between Kyle and Amanda reached its peak during a difficult conversation about their future, specifically their lack of a prenuptial agreement.
After she threatened retaliation – saying she’d come after anyone who targeted her – the 43-year-old responded by saying they wouldn’t stand a chance against her.
The chat ended with Amanda asking, “Are you threatening me?”
The situation became even more complicated for the cast when Amanda revealed her relationship with West on March 31st – West is, notably, the ex-boyfriend of Amanda’s close friend, Ciara Miller.
In a joint statement on Instagram, the couple explained that their romantic relationship was a surprise, even to them. They’ve been close friends for years, sharing both good and bad times, and they wanted to handle this new development with sensitivity, given their history.
Although the couple didn’t intend to cause any pain or seem thoughtless, Kyle was definitely upset.

Loverboy founder expressed feeling deeply betrayed in a TikTok video from April 2nd, telling journalist Adam Glyn that a friend abruptly ended their relationship. He questioned what happened to the unwritten rules of friendship, saying, “What happened to bro code?”

I was so thrilled to watch Ciara Miller find love on Summer House last season! It was amazing seeing her connection with West Wilson develop, and I was really happy when they took their relationship from the show and started dating for real in 2023. They’re such a cute couple!
However, their romance wouldn’t last long, with the costars breaking up at the end of that year.
Their difficult breakup created tension at the summer house for the next two years, as Ciara wrestled with whether to forgive the sports reporter for hurting her and consider getting back together.

After a rocky four-year marriage, Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke have decided to separate, just before the tenth season of their Bravo series airs in 2026.
The longtime acting partners announced on Instagram on January 19th that they’ve decided to separate. They shared a joint statement saying the decision was mutual and made with kindness, and they asked for privacy and support as they both work on themselves and move forward.
Amanda and Kyle, who got married in September 2021, shared that while they’ve always been open about their relationship, they’re asking for privacy as they move forward. They appreciate everyone’s kindness and respect during this time.
The show gave viewers an intimate look at the couple’s struggles as their relationship fell apart.

Okay, so everyone’s been buzzing about Amanda and West! It all started when Deuxmoi, that popular gossip site, posted about them being seen together in New York City on March 5th. Apparently, there was definitely some flirty energy happening, and the rumors just took off from there. As someone who keeps an eye on these things, it’s no surprise people are so interested – they’ve got great chemistry, and the sightings really fueled the speculation!
Addressing rumors, West dismissed the speculation during a March 24th appearance on Watch What Happens Live. He explained that she’s currently single and that he was simply showing her around New York, as he has with others she’s dated before. He stated, “She’s single now and it happened already to other people she’s hung out with. We were just hanging out in New York. She’s single now, I gotta show her the streets a little.”
The journalist said, “She’s a close friend—someone I really care about.”

After news spread about a possible relationship between West and Amanda, some of their colleagues spoke up about the rumors.
On March 29th, Carl Radke posted a confused-looking photo to his Instagram Stories. Lindsay Hubbard and KJ Dillard followed suit, sharing similar expressions of confusion on their own social media accounts.
Austen Kroll, a fellow reality TV star and friend to several cast members of Summer House, appeared to weigh in on the drama. On March 29th, he posted to his Instagram Stories, “Apparently, dating your friends’ exes and eating pasta are both trendy again.”

Amanda and West publicly confirmed the rumors in a joint statement posted on Instagram on March 31st.
We never meant to keep our relationship a secret,” they explained in a message on their Instagram Stories. “Because things were complicated, and with so much attention on us from the show, we needed some time to figure things out privately before talking about it.
We understand this situation has only affected us and we never intended to cause any pain or seem irresponsible. We’re grateful for your understanding and respect as we work through this.

Just as West and Amanda revealed they were dating, Ciara was seen looking upset in New York City with a friend. People also started reaching out to support her, both in person and on social media, as the drama between the three of them unfolded and others chose sides.
Amanda’s soon-to-be ex-husband, Kyle Cooke, appeared to make light of their ongoing issues by posting a selfie with Ciara on Instagram on March 30th.
Paige DeSorbo, known from Summer House, publicly praised Ciara in an Instagram comment, simply writing, “Ur perfect.” Lindsay Hubbard and Dara Levitan, a newer cast member on the show, also showed their support for Ciara, with Lindsay calling her “Perfection” and Dara stating, “And that’s how you do it.”

Two days after Amanda and West went public, Kyle slammed his former friend for moving in on his ex.
He told journalist Adam Glyn in a TikTok video posted in April that he felt deeply betrayed. “He completely ended our friendship suddenly,” he said. “I thought we had a ‘bro code’ – what happened to that?”
Kyle also insinuated West’s intentions were calculated.
Okay, so I’ve been watching Kanye, and honestly, the guy is brilliant. He just gets people, especially women – he knows exactly what to say, it’s almost scary! Everyone’s losing their minds over this ‘redemption’ thing, like he’s totally changed, but I think it’s all calculated. He’s playing the game, strategically giving everyone what they want to hear. It’s so obvious, but everyone’s falling for it, and honestly? It’s kind of amazing to watch.
