Hugh Bonneville plays Ian Fletcher

Ian Fletcher is an executive best known for his roles on the British television shows Twenty Twelve and W1A. He previously led delivery for the London 2012 Olympic Games and later served as the BBC’s Head of Values.
He’s now working for the organization that runs world football, helping to manage the complex process of hosting a World Cup across three different countries—each with unique challenges and priorities. As Director of Integrity, his job is to make sure all decisions are fair and made with the right intentions.
Ian is generally a good person, though he can be a bit self-focused. His politeness often gets him into tricky situations.
Hugh Bonneville is a well-known British actor. You might recognize him from roles in popular shows and films like Downton Abbey, Paddington, The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin, and Douglas is Cancelled.
Hugh Skinner plays Will Humphries

Will Humphries is a character first seen in the show W1A. He used to be Ian’s personal assistant at the BBC, getting the job after a disorganized internship. Despite coming from a wealthy background, Will surprisingly lacks basic life skills and often makes simple tasks incredibly complicated. He’s known for speaking quickly and seeming constantly stressed.
Hugh Skinner is well-known for his role as Harry in the popular show Fleabag, created by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. He’s also appeared in The Windsors, Harlots, The Witcher, and the historical comedy Wicked Little Letters.
David Tennant is the Narrator

David Tennant is a well-known actor who narrates the documentary-style series Twenty Twenty Six, as well as its earlier shows W1A and Twenty Twelve. He became famous playing the Tenth Doctor in Doctor Who on BBC One, and has also appeared in popular shows like Broadchurch, Jessica Jones, Good Omens, and Rivals.
Chelsey Crisp plays Sarah Campbell

Sarah is a new colleague of Ian’s. She’s in charge of making the football tournament environmentally friendly and sustainable.
Besides her current work, Chelsey Crisp has appeared in shows like W1A and Ten Percent, the latter of which was created by the same person behind Twenty Twenty Six and is an English version of the French sitcom Call My Agent. Many viewers will recognize her as a main cast member on the ABC sitcom Fresh Off the Boat, which ran for six seasons from 2015 to 2020.
Nick Blood plays Phil Plank

Phil Plank used to be a professional football player, but his career didn’t reach its full potential. He’s now working with the team as an advisor, helping them with the rules and procedures during games.
I’ve been a fan of Nick Blood for a while now! You might recognize him from some really funny stuff like the sitcoms Trollied and Him & Her, or the Channel 4 show Babylon. But he really caught my attention as Lance Hunter in Agents of SHIELD – he was fantastic! And now he’s back in the spy game with The Day of the Jackal on Sky. He’s also been in Joan, Euphoria, and Rain Dogs, so he’s been consistently delivering great performances!
Jimena Larraguivel plays Gabriela De La Rosa

Gabriela is in charge of how the event is presented and the story being told. She’s very proud of her Mexican heritage and is actively promoting Mexico’s interests as one of the three countries hosting the event, along with the USA and Canada.
Besides her recent role in the popular Channel 4 detective series Patience, what other projects has Jimena Larraguivel appeared in?
Stephen Kunken plays Owen Mitchell

Owen leads the team’s logistics and makes sure everything runs smoothly, which is especially important for a tournament of this size. He’s from Canada, and that background sometimes affects his decisions.
If you recognize Stephen Kunken, you might have seen him in popular shows like Billions, The Handmaid’s Tale, or The Affair.
Paulo Costanzo plays Nick Castellano

Nick handles the business and legal side of things. He’s a strong negotiator who really prioritizes results, and sometimes that direct approach can rub people the wrong way.
Besides his well-known role on Joey – the Friends spin-off where he played Michael, Joey’s nephew – Paulo Costanzo has appeared in several other popular shows. These include the sci-fi drama The Expanse, the HBO miniseries The Night Of, the political thriller Designated Survivor, and the Prime Video comedy Upload.
Alexis Michalik plays Eric Van Dupuytrens

Let me tell you about Eric. He’s basically Ian’s supervisor – he’s the main person representing the organization that’s in charge, coming directly from their headquarters. As a film fan, understanding who holds the power is always key!
Alexis Michalik is mostly known for his work in French movies and TV shows. He recently starred in The Three Musketeers: Milady, alongside Eva Green and Vincent Cassel.
Nicole Sadie Sawyerr plays Emily Nash

Who is Emily? Emily is Eric’s personal assistant.
Besides her recent role as Cheryl in the TV show Casualty, what other projects has Nicole Sadie Sawyerr worked on?
Erin Kellyman plays Madison Flynn

Who is Madison Flynn? Madison is the head of the social media team.
Besides her recent work, Erin Kellyman has appeared in several popular franchises and projects. Early in her career, she was in Solo: A Star Wars Story, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Willow. She’s also known for her roles in The Green Knight, Blitz, Top Boy, and the new film 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple.
Marli Siu plays Mia So

Who is Mia? Mia works with Madison and Zach on the social media team.
Besides her current role, Marli Siu has also acted in several other projects. These include the Prime Video/Freevee series Alex Rider, based on the books by Anthony Horowitz, Everything I Know About Love, and Dixi on CBBC Online.
Joe Hewetson plays Zach Linksfeld

Zach is the last of three people on our social media team. He specializes in finding and addressing potential damage to our reputation online.
Besides his current work, Joe Hewetson has also appeared in Sex Education, Too Much, and Say Nothing.
Twenty Twenty Six premieres on BBC Two and iPlayer on Wednesday 8 April 2026.
