Update [April 8th, 2026, 1:30 PM]: Playground Games, the developer of Forza Horizon 6, has released gameplay footage from the game’s opening sequence, in addition to revealing the game map (see below). You can watch the gameplay above.
Playground Games has just revealed the complete map for Forza Horizon 6, giving players a first look at the famous Japanese locations they’ll be able to explore. The developers say this is the most detailed and varied map in the entire Forza Horizon series, and you can check it out below.
Players are closely examining the latest image for clues about the location of Forza Horizon 6, and it looks like a road from Mount Akina and the Nikko Circuit have already been identified. We’ll learn more details soon, as previews of the game are being released to some media outlets later today.
The latest installment in the Forza Horizon series, Forza Horizon 6, will be released on Xbox Series X|S and PC on May 19, 2026. We’ll then be able to share our full review of the game. A version for PlayStation 5 is also planned for release later in 2026.
