Jessica Alba’s Honest Company products are officially out of this world.
The company’s co-founder was thrilled when Christina Koch, an astronaut on the Artemis II mission, asked for their hand cream to be sent along on the space flight as part of a care package.
In an Instagram post from April 7th, Christina, 47, admits finding a particular product will take some effort. She’s searching for Honest brand lotion, a specific hygiene item, and Jessica reacts to the challenge.
I was sure we had some available, but we haven’t found it yet,” she said. “Plus, our current plan doesn’t offer that detailed tracking. I appreciate you finding it for us.”
Jessica, who has three children – Honor, 17, Haven, 14, and Hayes, 8 – with her ex-husband Cash Warren, was thrilled to talk about her personal care company. She could barely contain her excitement.
Oh my gosh, did you hear what she said?! It’s just… incredible! She was talking about how she just wanted to make things safer and better for everyone, and it all started with her daughter, Honor! Can you believe it? It’s so inspiring to me that something so personal could lead to something amazing. I’m seriously obsessed with everything she does, and hearing that story just makes me love her even more!
She explained that she chose the name ‘Honest’ because she wanted her company to be truly trustworthy. She then jokingly expressed her disbelief that the company’s logo was now actually in space, calling it ‘wild’.
Impressed by how far her influence extended, the 44-year-old pointed out that even a small action can have a huge impact, echoing the famous quote about space exploration.

She said it felt surreal. “I never imagined this would actually happen,” she explained, encouraging anyone with a dream to pursue it. “You really never know what’s possible – your creations could even end up in space!”
In case you missed it, the Artemis II mission is a 10-day flight to test NASA’s Orion spacecraft. This mission, featuring astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Jeremy Hansen, will be the first to carry humans around the moon since 1972.
Before its launch on April 1st, NASA shared details about the food and supplies being sent along with the rocket. The list included over 189 items, like enough for 43 cups of coffee, as well as mango salad, beef brisket, and other meals, according to NASA.

The spacecraft featured a significant upgrade in comfort: a proper toilet. This was a major improvement over the waste bags astronauts used during the Apollo missions of the 1970s, according to The New York Times.
In a YouTube video posted in October, astronaut Jeremy explained how lucky the crew is to have a private toilet on their small spacecraft. He described it as the only place during the mission where they can truly have a moment to themselves.
