Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Remake Touted to Anchor PS5’s Summer, Reveal Next Week

What’s your favorite Assassin’s Creed game? Many people consider Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, which was released with the PS4, to be one of the best.

Edward Kenway’s journey successfully blended classic stealth gameplay with exciting sea adventures, and let’s be honest, everyone loves a good pirate story. With the huge popularity of One Piece, it’s no surprise Ubisoft decided to revisit this style of game.

Everyone’s been talking about a remake of this game for years, but the French publisher finally confirmed it last month. It’s officially titled Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced.

Now there’s word of an incoming announcement, on 16th April.

The rumour began with a ResetEra user named BlackBate this morning, and Tom Henderson of the generally trustworthy Insider Gaming has since confirmed it.

The game is expected to launch sometime between June and August, and it’s predicted to be a major hit this summer, even before the release of GTA 6 during the holidays.

Ubisoft has faced some recent challenges, and they’re hoping this new project will help improve their financial performance.

We’re really excited to see how the publisher updates this remake. The Assassin’s Creed series has evolved a lot over the past ten years, and it will be fascinating to see what features they choose to include in the open-world sailing experience.
