Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce have reached the third down when it comes to their dog’s name.
I’ve been following the story of the Not Gonna Lie host’s new puppy, and it’s been quite a ride! First, she introduced her adorable German shepherd and called her Bernadette, but then she decided Matilda fit better. Now, just a week later, she’s revealed the pup’s new name – it’s been fun keeping up with all the changes! As a fan, I’m excited to see what they’ll name her next… just kidding (hopefully!).
Jason announced on the April 8th episode of New Heights that they’d gotten a German shepherd puppy named Frida, but everyone at home is calling her ‘Freddie.’ He held up the puppy as he shared the news.
Kylie and Jason’s daughters – Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finnley, who is 12 months old – seem happy with their nickname at the moment, but Jason recently introduced a slightly different version.
I was so excited to hear Taylor’s nickname for her cat! She told Travis she’s calling her ‘Gunda’ because she just prefers that name, and she was checking to make sure Travis knew the cat was German. It’s so cute how she’s embracing the cat’s heritage!
However, the rest of the family hasn’t embraced that name. Suddenly, Jason’s six-year-old chimed in, correcting them: “It’s not Gunda, it’s Freddie!”
And Travisgave his nieces’ chosen name a stamp of approval, “I like Freddie.”
To clarify, Jason emphasized to his younger brother, “Frida. Freddie is a nickname—but yes.”
The Kelce family is clearly overjoyed with their new dog, no matter what they decide to name him! Kylie shared on their podcast on March 31st that she’s completely smitten, saying she just can’t help it.

Jason and Kylie recently got a new pet after their daughters had been begging for a cat for months. Even Travis’s fiancée, Taylor Swift, supported the idea, despite Jason jokingly telling the girls that cats were poisonous.
Taylor playfully described a funny situation on the New Heights podcast. She explained that when she introduced her kids to her cats, she decided the best way to show the kids the cats weren’t dangerous was to simply let them hold Benjamin, her fluffy ragdoll cat.
Kylie admitted they were still dealing with issues involving their cats, but explained that her family felt better prepared to care for a dog.
I absolutely adore cats, and I ran into some seriously sweet ones recently! But as I’ve mentioned before, now isn’t the right time for me to adopt. When the time is right, though, you can bet I’ll head straight to the PSPCA and find a kitty who’s eager to join the Kelce family. I’m really looking forward to that day!

In October 2019, Jason and Kylie Kelce had their first child, a daughter named Wyatt Elizabeth Kelce.

Their second daughter Elliotte Ray Kelce joined the family two years later.

A year after Elliotte was born, Kylie announced she was expecting another baby, sharing a cute photo to reveal the news.

The couple had their third child in February 2023, just a couple of weeks after Jason played against his brother, Travis Kelce, in the 2023 Super Bowl.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m always thrilled to see families celebrating big wins! Recently, Jason shared a truly heartwarming moment on Instagram – his daughters proudly holding the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy! He expressed how unbelievable it was, saying he never imagined having the trophy – a symbol of ultimate success – right in his own home. It’s moments like these that really remind you to cherish life’s special surprises!
It was amazing to see the trophy up close,” he said. “It looks surprisingly small when NBA players hold it, but it’s actually huge! My daughters were really fascinated by it, too.”

In August 2023, a family of five enjoyed some fun activities, including obstacle courses and visits to Rita’s Italian Ice, all thanks to dad after practice, as Kylie playfully shared on Instagram.

Jason and Kylie celebrated Wyatt’s fourth birthday in October 2023 with a special party held at the Philadelphia Eagles’ stadium. Kylie shared on Instagram that the celebration coincided with the Eagles achieving a 4-0 record at the start of the season.

I was so excited to see Kylie post a picture of her boys – Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett – on Instagram back in June 2024! The caption, “Parents know… 2 out of 3 isn’t bad!”, just perfectly captures the reality of raising kids, doesn’t it? It’s relatable and funny, and honestly, as a fan, it felt like a sweet little peek into her life as a mom.
Jason’s mother, Donna Kelce, shared a sweet message, calling her grandchildren a ‘cute and beautiful bunch of lucky charms’ under a rainbow photo.

Jason and Kylie welcomed their fourth baby girl Finnley “Finn” Anne Kelce on March 30, 2025.

Kylie craddled her Finn in her arms after the baby’s March 2025 arrival.

Little Finn rocked a floral onesie shortly after she was born in the hospital.

The Philadelphia Eagles alum held newborn Finnley close in an Instagram photo shared in April 2025.
