The film will also feature Lars Eidinger as Brainiac, and Aaron Pierre will reprise his role as Green Lantern John Stewart, bringing in more characters from the DC Universe.

A fan asked James Gunn if a recent post meant Maxima would be in Man of Tomorrow but not played by one of three specific actresses. Gunn immediately clarified that he hadn’t confirmed anything about Maxima’s appearance. He explained that he’s already cast all the major roles in the film, but there’s still one role left to be filled to complete the main cast.

James Gunn’s comments today—including confirmations, hints, and denials—have led many to think Maxima will appear in the movie. Rumors have circulated about her role, and Gunn’s recent statement that one character is still unconfirmed has further convinced fans she’ll be included.
