A video is circulating of an NFL reporter seemingly alluding to difficulties in her marriage to Kevin Goldschmidt, after photos emerged of her and New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel – both of whom are married to others – staying at a hotel together in Sedona, Arizona.
Dianna revealed on the February 6th recording of the Stugotz and Company podcast that her mom is the one who pointed out her marriage is struggling, adding, “This is actually happening.”
Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! So, Dianna was in San Francisco for the Super Bowl – can you even imagine?! – and her mom came over to the house she shares with her husband and kids. Later, she told Dianna, and I nearly died when I heard it, that she said about her husband, ‘He looks good!’ Seriously, ‘He looks good!’ It’s just… everything!
Dianna remembered telling someone that he seemed less stressed this year. The other person responded by suggesting he might have a girlfriend, and added that it was a good thing. They pointed out he looked happy and successful, and that his wife wasn’t often around. They also noted his passion for football seemed to be contributing to his positive appearance.
It’s understandable that the NFL reporter for The Athletic—with more than a decade of experience covering the league—was upset by what her mother said.
Dianna explained that she asked why someone would tell her something like that – that her husband had a girlfriend – while she was away on a trip. The person responded by saying they were just trying to playfully tease her.
The 43-year-old emphasized that her mother’s comments were “so messed up.”
I just… I can’t even process it. She’s literally throwing things at me, and I’m stuck here! But then, my brain just went to this totally different place. I started thinking, ‘Ugh, you know, there is this one girl who works with him… she’s really gorgeous. It actually… makes sense.’ It’s so frustrating, my thoughts are all over the place!
To solve the situation, Dianna joked she was planning to call her husband “naked.”
She continued, saying, “Just begin preparing things. When he asks to see a picture of the stadium, it’ll be me sending it. But he’ll likely respond saying he doesn’t want it.”
Recent photos of Dianna and Mike sparked some surprise among sports fans, especially since Mike has been married to Jennifer Vrabel for 25 years and shares two grown children with her. However, the football coach quickly clarified that their outing wasn’t romantic.
The 50-year-old stated to Page Six that the photos clearly show a harmless interaction and any other interpretation is ridiculous. They added that they won’t be commenting on the matter any further.
