
Chris Hemsworth is confirmed to reprise his role as Tyler Rake in Extraction 3. The film will also bring back Idris Elba and Golshifteh Farahani, joining Hemsworth in the cast.
Sam Hargrave is directing the third Extraction movie. The film will be produced by AGBO, a production company run by the Russo Brothers. David Weil is writing the screenplay this time, taking over from Joe Russo who wrote the first two films. Details about the story are currently being kept secret.

Fans Have Been Waiting 3 Years for Extraction 3
Netflix has officially confirmed a third Extraction movie. The announcement follows reports of production being scheduled from April 2024 to October 2026. Filming will take place in Sydney, Australia, and various locations throughout Europe.
Extraction 3 will likely continue the story from the end of Extraction 2, where Idris Elba’s character, Alcott, offered Chris Hemsworth’s Tyler Rake and Golshifteh Farahani’s Nik Khan a deal: their freedom in exchange for completing missions for his employer. It was revealed in 2024 that Alcott still has unresolved issues with Rake.
