She didn’t share her diagnosis until 2025, when she revealed on Instagram that she had been privately struggling with the condition for over ten years.

She explained that growing up, many girls are taught to expect period pain and to accept it as a normal part of womanhood. This often leaves them dealing with a common issue in silence and without support.

“It’s been incredibly difficult,” Devine shared on the In Depth With Graham Bensinger podcast in 2025. “I experience spasms throughout my body, and doctors recently told me I was facing a life-threatening situation—within the last year, actually.”

He explained that his pain is intermittent, and described having some physical imperfections and minor health issues.

He described a strange tingling sensation that still lingered in his legs as of March 2025, sharing this on his Trading Secrets podcast. To illustrate the extent of the issue, he mentioned that just a few weeks or a month prior, he was able to squat 295 pounds. But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

After noticing she looked “puffier,” Schumer was surprised when doctors began commenting on interviews, suggesting she might have Cushing syndrome due to high cortisol levels or steroid injections. This led her to realize she’d been receiving steroid injections after a breast reduction and C-section. She wouldn’t have known about the condition without the online feedback. Thankfully, doctors determined her case of Cushing syndrome would resolve on its own, and she’s now relieved to be healthy. As a huge hockey fan and especially a follower of the AHL, I was really shaken up when I heard about the injury back in December 2024. I don’t wish that on any parent.’ It was a scary situation, and I’m so glad to hear he’s okay.

In March 2022, Hailey Bieber experienced a frightening health scare while having breakfast with her husband, Justin Bieber. She suddenly started having stroke-like symptoms, and couldn’t speak or control the right side of her face. Although her symptoms briefly disappeared, she went to the hospital for testing. Doctors discovered she’d had a small blood clot travel to her brain, which they identified as a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack). Further testing at UCLA revealed Hailey had a hole in her heart, called a patent foramen ovale (PFO). The blood clot had moved through this hole and caused the TIA. Hailey has since undergone a successful procedure to close the PFO and is now doing well.

The same year Hailey faced a health issue, Justin also experienced one. In June 2022, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a condition that caused temporary paralysis on one side of his face. This forced him to cancel the remaining dates of his Justice World Tour.

In a video posted to Instagram, Justin explained that the virus affected the nerves in his ear and face, causing paralysis. He showed fans how he couldn’t blink, smile, or move his nostril on the affected side, and that it was becoming difficult to eat. Fortunately, the paralysis eventually went away.

After surgery, twenty days passed before Jamie woke up on May 4th, finding himself in a wheelchair and unable to walk. He then traveled to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy.

Jamie expressed his gratitude for the prayers he received, saying, “I needed every prayer.”

The reality TV star shared that she briefly stopped breathing while running in the first challenge of the NBC competition show, describing the experience as feeling like she ‘died’.

Then, unbelievably, she said her grandpa appeared. After that, everything went dark, but then she saw light. And in that moment, she knew – she truly believed she had died that day. It was incredibly powerful to hear her describe it.

She explained that her organs were failing. She hadn’t known she had rhabdomyolysis, a condition where your body essentially starts to shut down.

A hospital scan revealed she’d suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage – a life-threatening stroke caused by a ruptured aneurysm. She underwent immediate surgery to repair it, but the pain was excruciating. During her recovery, she experienced aphasia, struggling to speak coherently.

Though she left the hospital after a month, a 2013 scan showed the aneurysm had grown, requiring a second surgery. This procedure initially failed, causing a massive bleed and putting her life at risk. Doctors had to perform a more invasive surgery, accessing her brain directly through her skull.

Fortunately, Emilia reports she has now made a full recovery and is at 100%.

Because she comes from a holistic health background and studies herbalism, Woodley sought a combination of traditional medical care and alternative healing methods to find answers. This search for well-being lasted for ten years.

Woodley explained that the physical discomfort led to deeper issues, including fear of food and struggles with body image, identity, and feeling comfortable in her own body. Thankfully, after years of focusing on both her physical and mental health, she is now feeling much better. She shared that her health issues have resolved and she is very happy to be healthy again.
