My Dearest Direst Disaster coming to PC

Water Phoenix announced that their game, My Dearest Direst Disaster (originally titled Saiaku Naru Saiyaku Ningen ni Sasagu in Japan), will be available on PC through Steam. They’ve also started a crowdfunding campaign on Campfire, aiming to raise one million yen (about $6,302 USD).

The game My Dearest Direst Disaster was first released in Japan for PlayStation 4 on August 23, 2018. It then came to Nintendo Switch on September 20, 2018, and to iOS and Android devices on January 24, 2019.

Water Phoenix is adding five new post-game scenarios to the PC version of the game. Each scenario is expected to take between 40 and 80 minutes to complete. These stories, set in different game worlds, were originally intended for the initial release but had to be removed to meet the game’s deadline and budget.

The PC release will include updated character portraits and images from in-game events. Here’s a preview of some of the changes:

Water Phoenix has stated they don’t intend to add the new features from the PC version to the console and mobile versions of the game at this time.
