The Game Bakers announced that new free downloadable content, “On the Trail,” is coming to their survival climbing adventure game, Cairn, this summer.

The Game Bakers announced a free update called “On the Trail” for their popular climbing game, Cairn. The first part of this update, “On the Trail: Deep Water,” adds new locations and challenges as players follow in the footsteps of a famous climber. It includes three new areas to climb, and a thrilling new way to play: water soloing! Now, falling won’t end your climb – you’ll just splash into the water. Plus, you can now play as Marco or Aava alongside your original character. This new content will be available in summer 2026.
Cairn is available now for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.
