There Are No Ghosts At The Grand Trailer Showcases its 30 Day Limit, Gameplay and Story

Developer Friday Sundae just released a new trailer for their unique game, There Are No Ghosts At The Grand. The trailer shows off the game’s spooky atmosphere and introduces the story: the player, as Chris David, inherits an old English hotel called The Grand and decides to fix it up.

He begins his big project with impressive abilities – he can strip old paint from walls or even move heavy furniture like a piano with his mind. But things soon go wrong and become unsettling.

Chris admitted he wasn’t being truthful about his identity and explained his real reason for coming to The Grand hotel: to uncover and eliminate a dark secret hidden within its walls. He plans to do this with the help of a talking cat and some animated tools, hoping to rid the hotel of any ghosts.

The game largely focuses on a dual life: during the day, you renovate a hotel, and at night, you perform exorcisms. The trailer also highlights a key game mechanic: you have just 30 days and 30 nights to fully restore the hotel by completing both renovation work and exorcising spirits. We also get a glimpse of the supporting characters you’ll meet and befriend while working at the hotel in There Are No Ghosts At The Grand.

The game There Are No Ghosts At The Grand will be released on PC and Xbox Series X/S, and players will also be able to access it through Xbox Game Pass and cloud gaming.
