Metal Slug Classics Are Dirt Cheap on PS5, PS4 Right Now

Can you believe Metal Slug is turning 30? As a huge fan, I’m so excited they’re bringing all the classic games to PS5 and PS4 – it’s the perfect time to relive those amazing memories (or experience them for the first time!). I’m definitely grabbing a few copies!

SNK is currently having a sale on many of its classic run-and-gun games, including titles from the ACA Neo Geo series and some of their own updated versions.

Okay, so you might notice Metal Slug 3 listed twice. That’s because there are two versions: one from Hamster and one directly from SNK. They’re almost the same game, but the SNK version is way cheaper – like 80% off! Plus, if you have a PS Vita, that’s the one you want, and it also has more Trophies to earn.

The only games not included in the sale are Metal Slug Anthology and Metal Slug Tactics. It’s too bad about Metal Slug Tactics, as we think it’s a unique and worthwhile addition to any fan’s collection.

Despite that, it seems SNK is planning a new game in this famous series, making now a great time to revisit the older titles while we learn more about the upcoming one.
