The story of Ruben and Niall, portrayed by Richard Gadd and Jamie Bell, begins in the first episode of Half Man, which is now streaming on BBC iPlayer.

The show launched on BBC iPlayer at 6am on Friday, April 24th, and new episodes will now be released weekly.
That means that Half Man episode 2 will be released at 6am on Friday 1 May 2026 on BBC iPlayer.
Meanwhile, it will also get a transmission on BBC One, airing at 10:40pm on Tuesday 5 May 2026.
Half Man release schedule – When are new episodes out?
New episodes of Half Man are available every Friday at 6am on BBC iPlayer, beginning April 24th. This schedule matches the US release on HBO, where episodes premiere Thursdays at 9pm Eastern Time (2am in the UK) starting April 23rd.
New episodes will also air on BBC One in the UK, but a week after their initial release, at 10:40 PM. This schedule is confirmed for the first two weeks, and the times for later episodes will be announced soon.
