Sometimes a game really captures my attention. Recently, that game was People of Note.
K-Pop Idol Stories: Road to Debut is a unique game where you build and manage a girl group, aiming to make them famous. It’s a tycoon game focused on recruiting members and guiding them to success.
You’ll need to find, develop, and oversee the skills and image of your team. What overall style are you aiming for? Does your team have the right look? Are your members getting the training they need? And are you pushing them too hard?
Ultimately, everything comes down to performing, but getting there requires difficult choices. You’ll need to carefully balance your time, energy, and finances to succeed.
The game is being developed by Indonesian studio Wisageni. While we like the overall direction, we think it would have been better with an anime or manhwa art style instead of the current one. Otherwise, it’s exactly what we were hoping for.
Okay, so the game is getting a K-pop soundtrack, which I think is awesome! It sounds like it’s all original music created just for the game though, since they haven’t announced any specific artists yet. We’ll have to wait and see, but I’m already excited to hear what it sounds like!
We don’t have a specific release date yet, only that it’s expected sometime in 2026. However, you can pre-order physical copies for PlayStation 5 from stores like Amazon.
We’ve noticed some stores listing a release date of July 17th, so we’re confirming that information with PQube to make sure it’s correct.
Do you enjoy games where you build and manage a business or empire? Are you excited about the idea of creating your own team? Let us know in the comments if you’re eager to introduce your version of the group Le Sserafim!
