Okay, so this week has been amazing for PS5 gamers! Three new games dropped on the PlayStation Store, and all of them are getting incredible reviews – like, 4.9 stars or higher! That basically translates to a 98 out of 100, which is seriously impressive. One of them is a port of a game that was already a huge hit back in 2025, and the other two are totally fresh releases. The best part? They’re all really affordable. Usually, new PS5 games can be around eighty bucks, but two of these are only thirty, and one is a steal at just ten! Definitely worth checking them out.
Three games are currently receiving rave reviews on PS5. First, there’s Mouse: P.I. For Hire, the debut release from developer Fumi Games and publisher Playside, which users have rated 4.9 out of 5 stars based on over 3,700 reviews. Next is Hades II from Supergiant Games, already hailed as the top game of 2025, and PS5 players are clearly enjoying it – it boasts a 4.93 out of 5-star rating from more than 4,000 reviews. Finally, Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard is a spin-off of the popular 2022 indie game Vampire Survivors, both developed by Poncle. It currently holds a 4.94 out of 5-star rating after over 1,000 reviews.
Mouse: P.I. For Hire
You can download Mouse P.I. For Hire now on the PlayStation Store for $29.99. This action-packed, first-person shooter is styled after classic 1930s cartoons. You’ll play as Jack Pepper, a detective and war veteran, as he investigates a dark conspiracy in the city of Mouseburg.
Just so you know, Mouse: P.I. For Hire has a score of 81 on Metacritic, which is pretty good. However, players themselves have given it even higher ratings on all platforms.
Hades II
Hades II is available on the PlayStation Store for $30, but PlayStation Plus members can get it for a discounted price of $23.99 until April 28th. In this action-packed dungeon crawler, you take on the role of the immortal Princess of the Underworld and fight to defeat the Titan of Time and their forces.
Just so you know, Hades II has a Metacritic score of 95, meaning both professional critics and players are overwhelmingly praising the game.
Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors
I recently picked up Vampire Crawlers, the spin-off from Vampire Survivors, and honestly, for just ten bucks on the PlayStation Store, it’s a steal! It’s a really fun, casual survival game with a cool gothic horror vibe. Basically, you’re just trying to survive endless waves of enemies – it’s got those rogue-lite and bullet hell elements that make it super addictive. It’s simple to pick up, but surprisingly challenging!
The game Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors has a Metacritic score of 82. Like many games today, critics and players seem to have different opinions about it, but that’s not unusual.
