Throne and Liberty Update 35.103.414 Adds a 12-Player Raid
Altar of Calanthia: 12-Player Raid
Overthrow Calanthia before her vision turns into a dread for everyone in Solisium. Powerful adversaries will challenge you along your path towards the altar. Once you reach there, you’ll encounter the Supreme Commander General of the Arkeum Legion.
Defeat Calanthia before her ideal transforms into a terror for all of Solisium. Formidable foes will try to thwart you on your journey towards the altar. Upon reaching, you’ll battle the Top Commander General of the Arkeum Legion.
-
To gain entry to Altar of Calanthia, you need to finish both Part I and Part II of the Two Wings of Sylvaeth Codex. The access points and necessary crafting NPCs are located at the northern end of Herba Village.
-
You can find listings for parties participating in the Altar of Calanthia raids via the Raid User Interface located at the entrance. Regular party matchmaking doesn’t display these raids, but you can utilize it to join normal difficulty ones.
-
In the Raid game, the matching system organizes teams into groups of seven players, with one player filling the tank role, another as the healer, and the remaining four taking damage-per-second (DPS) roles. However, pre-formed Vanguard teams can freely combine any roles when forming their parties. Essentially, teams have the flexibility to shape their Raid group according to their preferred setup.
-
Normal mode requires players to be at least 5,000 Combat Power.
-
In the challenging mode, players need a minimum Combat Power of 6,000. This level ups the boss’s statistics, adds complex mechanics, and introduces multiple phases for a tougher gaming experience.
-
Players can complete and receive rewards from both Normal and Difficult mode each week.
-
In Altar of Calanthia, defeating a boss serves as a save point. Teams can re-enter at these points throughout the following week. It’s important to note that players aren’t tied to any single group’s progress; they can join multiple groups within a week. However, fighting and defeating previously encountered bosses won’t yield extra rewards until the weekly reset occurs.
-
If a team suffers complete defeat against any boss in Normal Mode, each player will get boosts to their damage output and health points for subsequent tries. These boosts can accumulate up to 10 times, with a maximum of one application every 3 minutes.
-
Weekly Incentives: Slaying Calanthia, regardless of difficulty level, ensures a Heroic Armor or Weapon as your reward. Choosing the challenging mode increases the likelihood of obtaining Weapons or Selection Chests, rather than random items. Future updates will introduce Heroic Accessories and an even tougher version of the Raid, offering these items alongside them.
-
In the sanctum of Calanthia, two novel components have been presented – Entropy Fragments and Chaos Crystals. These elements play a crucial role in crafting advanced Heroic augmentation materials, as well as tools for managing Heroic abilities, and ultimately, Heroic equipment.

Heroic Gear
-
The Altar of Calanthia raid introduces a new grade of equipment drops: Heroic grade.
-
Characters may only equip one Weapon and one Armor of Heroic grade at a time.
-
A Heroic-tier item surpasses the current Epic gear, with a baseline Heroic item having an equivalent strength to a fully upgraded Tier 2 Epic piece.
-
Distinctive heroic artifacts come equipped with key attributes and auxiliary features, much like other levels of equipment. Moreover, they boast an additional Heroic Quality, which amplifies one of the fundamental characteristics among the five basic ones.
-
In simpler terms, Heroic weapons don’t automatically have passive abilities. However, you can detach the passive ability (known as a Skill Core) from any Tier 1 Arch boss weapon or Epic Tier 2 weapon and then attach it to your Heroic weapon.
-
Craft Skill Core items at the Skill Core NPC near the Altar of Calanthia Raid portal.
-
Heroic gear is leveled using the new craftable Heroic Growthstones as materials.
Ascended Arch Bosses: Queen Bellandir and Tevent
-
Each week, you’ll find tougher variations of old arch bosses, Tevent and Queen Bellandir, have been added to our rotation.

-
These new Arch Boss versions drop materials used to upgrade your existing Arch Boss weapons.
-
Now, you can manufacture the second-tier variants of the Tevent and Bellandir Arch Boss Weapons at any weapon-crafting station available.
-
As an enthusiast, I’ve come to understand that creating a Tier 2 Arch Boss weapon is a fascinating process, where a Tier 1 Arch Boss weapon of the same type serves as the primary crafting material.
-
When you use up your Tier 1 Arch Boss weapon, its characteristics will be wiped clean and won’t transfer to a Tier 2 weapon.
-
Tier 2 Arch Boss weapons have an enhanced weapon skill compared to their Tier 1 counterparts.
-

When successful, it inflicts a ranged escape penalty on the target. The cooldown time is decreased from 1 minute to 1 minute less, and the damage output is amplified from 150% to 250%.
-
Brutal Arrow: Now increases damage by 40% against stunned or bound targets.
