So, everyone’s been buzzing about a possible remake of Rayman Legends, but it looks like Rayman Origins is getting an upgrade first! It actually popped up on the Microsoft Store way earlier than expected (thanks Resetera for the heads-up!). The price listed was… a little shocking, though – almost two grand! Definitely a glitch, but hey, I’m excited to replay a classic!
I was so excited to see this game is finally coming to Xbox Series X/S! From what I’ve heard, it’s going to look amazing with 4K resolution and run super smooth at 60 FPS. They’re even adding some nice quality-of-life improvements, which is great. And as a long-time fan, I’m especially happy they’re including all 60 Relics that were originally in the PlayStation Vita version. Remember those? Collecting them all unlocked extra story details about the characters through these cool murals, and I can’t wait to do that again!
We expect an official announcement, and possibly a surprise release, of Rayman Legends Retold very soon, so keep an eye out for updates. According to Dealabs’ Billbil-kun, pre-orders should become available on June 2nd at 1 AM Pacific Time, even before the State of Play showcase, though it might not be formally revealed during the event.
The updated game is rumored to come out on October 1st and cost $39.99. A major improvement over the first version, it will let up to four players team up online. According to N1-UP, the game will also include crossover content with character skins inspired by Astro Bot and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
