However, it’s quite small, fitting easily in one hand, and doesn’t hold much—barely even one scoop of popcorn. Most collectible popcorn buckets are large enough for a family to share, holding almost a full large size tub. As people on X noted, if you buy this Supergirl bucket, you might only get a couple of handfuls of popcorn before it’s empty during the movie.
One user commented that it barely resembled a bucket, while another playfully called it a popcorn container.
Despite the small portion size, many fans still plan to purchase the item, viewing it as a collectible rather than a snack to enjoy during the Supergirl movie.
One X user had a simple solution to make the Lobo collectible even better: include a free bucket of popcorn with every purchase. They explained, “I instantly went from thinking this was cool to thinking it was a bad idea, and all it would take is a free bucket of popcorn.”
One person pointed out that this seems like a way for theaters to make extra money by selling expensive collectibles instead of providing actual popcorn. They added that while they understand theaters need to make a profit, the container is too small to even hold a decent amount of popcorn.
