It’s rumored that State of Decay 3 will appear on PlayStation 5 at some point down the line. Over the past 25 years, Xbox has undergone significant transformations. MP1st has pointed out that a resume for an Undead Labs developer hints at the development of State of Decay 3 for PS5, making it the first game in the series to be released on PlayStation. While it’s possible that Xbox could re-release an earlier game like the Gears of War remaster for PS5, each State of Decay game is self-contained, so you don’t need to play the previous ones to fully grasp the storyline. The release date for the PS5 version is yet unknown, but it wouldn’t be surprising if it launched simultaneously with Xbox.
