We’ve already gotten a special epilogue episode showing what Deku and everyone are up to as adults, and now there’s even more! They’ve teamed up with Japan’s national soccer team for a fun crossover ahead of the FIFA World Cup, and honestly, the new looks for Deku and the others are amazing – they’re taking the field in style! My Hero Academia Launches Cool Soccer Crossover
The popular anime My Hero Academia is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a special collaboration with the Japan national soccer team. Fans can look forward to a new poster and official character jerseys available in Japan. This is just one of many exciting events planned for the year, including a concert tour that will travel internationally. Plus, the anime itself is back with new releases!
This Spring, My Hero Academia released a special episode called “More” that takes place after the end of the TV series. The episode, based on a bonus chapter from Kohei Horikoshi’s manga, shows Deku and Ochaco looking back on the past ten years and how much their lives have changed since the fight against All For One and Tomura Shigaraki. You can watch it now on Crunchyroll, and another new release is still coming!
My Hero Academia Anime to Return This Summer
Fans of My Hero Academia have a new anime special to look forward to called “I am a hero too.” This short will continue the story shortly after the “More” epilogue, and is based on extra pages from the My Hero Academia Ultra Age fan book. It will show more of Deku’s life as a professional hero and focus on an older Eri as she builds her future. The special is scheduled to be released later this summer.
The new season of My Hero Academia, titled “I am a hero too,” will premiere in Japan on August 3rd. While international streaming details haven’t been announced yet, fans can get a sneak peek at a special premiere event at Anime Expo 2026 this July, suggesting a worldwide release will follow soon. In the meantime, you can watch previous seasons of My Hero Academia on streaming services like Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Netflix.
