Okay, so EastEnders is really putting Ian Beale through the wringer right now. It looks like things are about to fall apart for him after he accidentally hit Jordan Fox with his car. Honestly, it’s a huge mess and he could lose everything – it’s a really dramatic situation unfolding on the Square.
He urgently tried to steer his intoxicated mother, Kathy, away from the wedding of Vicki Fowler and Ross Marshall, not realizing that Vicki had already left the party and was wandering around outside.
Chelsea Fox, his mother, told him to go back inside the marquee. She then found him unconscious on the floor and screamed for help.
Jack Branning hurried to the scene and, spotting a traffic cone with Ian’s name on it – used to save a parking space – told his coworkers to come see for themselves.
Peter Beale (Thomas Law) called for an ambulance and checked to make sure Jordan was still breathing. At the same time, Jack contacted his colleague, Denise Fox (Diane Parish), to let her know what was happening.
The hospital called her again, strongly advising she seek immediate treatment after being diagnosed with blood cancer.

Denise promised the doctor she would call back, but she got caught up in Jordan’s troubling situation and forgot.
Police went to Ian’s home and told him evidence indicated he had hit a pedestrian while driving away from the wedding. After a breathalyzer test, he was arrested for both driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.
He was deeply embarrassed and shocked when brought to the police station, especially by how stern Jack was with him. He had no idea he’d actually hit Jordan.
The officer measured 41 micrograms of alcohol in Ian’s system, exceeding the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Ian claimed he’d only had one drink, but the officer pointed out that there’s no specific amount anyone can drink and still be safe to drive.
Ian initially said he didn’t want a lawyer, but changed his mind as soon as he learned Jordan had been hurt. He was held in a cell, where Jack warned him that he’d probably made a lot of enemies.
At the hospital, the doctor explained to Chelsea that her son had injured his spine and required an operation.

During the wedding reception, Vicki announced to the guests that they only had an hour left at the venue and encouraged everyone to enjoy the remaining time. Elsewhere, Max Branning, who had been drinking, was upset and angry that no one was supportive of his relationship with Cindy Beale. He was particularly annoyed by a playful joke Vicki made about them.
He unexpectedly took the microphone and revealed the engagement ring Howie Danes intended to give to Kim Fox.
Max got down on one knee and proposed to Cindy, who looked absolutely stunned by his actions.
How will she respond?
