Before today’s State of Play livestream, Silent Hill: Townfall received its official age rating from the ESRB. This likely means we’ll see an update on the game tonight, possibly revealing a release date for the PlayStation 5.
Townfall has been rated M for Mature due to its blood, strong language, and violent content. The game’s website offers a story summary and details some of the graphic scenes players can expect. These include a character being stabbed in a close-up shot and a man being devoured by a monster.
Since Silent Hill: Townfall is only coming to PlayStation 5 and PC, we’ll likely hear updates during today’s State of Play presentation. Sony previously dedicated a segment of their February State of Play to Konami, showcasing Townfall alongside Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 and Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse.
After the announcements of Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill F, I’m really excited to see what else the Silent Hill series has in store. Silent Hill: Townfall, which is set in Scotland, is looking promising, and I’m looking forward to a release date. There’s a good chance we’ll hear about it tonight.
