Let’s get quiet with those Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein rumors.
Despite recent rumors about a possible romance, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck confirmed they are officially together on June 2nd.
Jennifer explained to Savannah Guthrie on Today that whenever she’s seen with a colleague, people immediately assume they’re working together. Brett chimed in, jokingly suggesting that just standing in a certain spot seems to trigger those assumptions.
Nevertheless, Savannah was not satisfied by the duo’s response.
“I’ll just say because I’m me,” the Today anchor joked. “And you know me, that’s not an answer.”
And so, Jennifer and Brett—who was previously linked to Beth Rylance—doubled down on their stance.
“It felt like a real response,” Jennifer explained. “All the attention I’ve been getting – I even worked with Kevin Costner this year, and so many other people. This kind of thing happens to me frequently.”
Savannah playfully suggested it was just what happened when you were attractive and available, but Jennifer quickly countered that didn’t necessarily mean it was accurate.
Indeed, the Maid in Manhattan actress assured that she and her Netflix costar are “not dating.”
