Rayman Legends Retold Screenshots Leak, Allegedly Includes Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition for Free

Pre-orders for Rayman Legends Retold, the updated version of Ubisoft’s Rayman Legends, are expected to start soon, and more evidence is appearing to confirm the game is real. A website accidentally published an early preview, including screenshots of the game’s new visuals.

So, the page for this game got taken down, but thankfully Insider Gaming saved it on the Wayback Machine! Honestly, it’s a big change visually from what I was expecting. Instead of that classic, beautiful UbiArt style, it’s going for something more 2.5D, and even has some full 3D bits. I was a little worried about them changing the art style, but from what I’ve seen, it actually looks pretty good!

Okay, so I was really hoping we’d get online co-op with the new Switch, but it looks like that might not be happening, according to a reliable source. However, there’s some good news! They also showed a glimpse of the physical version – it’s on some kind of Game-Key card – and said it will come with a free copy of Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition. That’s a pretty sweet deal, even if the co-op thing falls through!

This device briefly appeared on the Microsoft Store for $1,999 before being removed. It was advertised as being able to play games in 4K at 60 frames per second and included improvements to the user experience, as well as content from the original PS Vita release.

Rumors suggest that Rayman Legends Retold will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on October 1st. It’s also said to include collaborative character skins featuring content from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Astro Bot.
