EA Sports has announced that College Football 27 will be released this year and has also revealed the game’s cover art. After a long wait, EA is ready to showcase the latest installment in the college football series during an event called “Opening Drive” later this week. Before the event, EA shared the release date so fans know when they can start playing CFB 27.
College Football 27 is coming out soon – on July 9th! As always, players with EA Play will get early access, starting with a 10-hour trial on July 2nd. Those with EA Play Pro can jump into the Pro Edition even earlier, beginning July 6th.

I’m so hyped for College Football 27! They announced the cover athletes, and it’s awesome to see Oregon’s Dante Moore, Miami’s Malachi Toney, and Ole Miss’ Kewan Lacy on the standard edition. But if you get the Deluxe Edition, it’s even cooler! They’re featuring Indiana’s coach, Curt Cignetti, after his team just won the National Championship. Plus, the Deluxe artwork also includes other big names like Notre Dame’s Leonard Moore, USC’s Jayden Maiava, and Texas’ Colin Simmons. It’s going to be a great game!
EA Sports hasn’t shown us how College Football 27 will actually play yet, but that’s about to change. This week, on June 4th, EA will host an “Opening Drive” broadcast that will give a detailed look at both CFB 27 and Madden NFL 27. During the broadcast, EA will reveal all the new features and improvements coming to both games before they’re released this summer.
We’ll continue to share updates on both College Football 27 and Madden NFL 27 right here on ComicBook, so keep checking back for more!
