New Tomb Raider PS5 Screenshots Leak Ahead of State of Play, Release Date Revealed

Update [Tue 2nd Jun 2026, 8:15pm]:

The upcoming Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is confirmed to be featured in today’s State of Play presentation. A release date was unexpectedly revealed through Steam pre-order codes briefly listed on Amazon, as discovered by a user on the Blue Sky platform.

The game is now scheduled to launch on February 10, 2027. It appears the delay is due to Amazon needing more time to complete development, especially with GTA 6 already set to release on November 19th.

If you pre-order now, you’ll get the Survivor Outfit unlocked right away – it’s based on the look from the newer Tomb Raider games.

If you buy the Deluxe Edition, you’ll get early access starting 48 hours before everyone else, plus a special outfit called the Parisian Fugitive unlocked right away, and a new story chapter that will be released after the game launches.

A new trailer is coming out in just a few hours during Sony’s livestream, and you can watch it right here.

Five new images for the PlayStation 5 remake of Tomb Raider, reportedly titled Legacy of Atlantis, were mistakenly published on the PlayStation Store, strongly suggesting it will be featured in today’s State of Play presentation.

The screenshots feature Lara Croft in several action-packed scenes, including a confrontation with feathered dinosaurs – a detail that will likely thrill fans.

I really like how Lara looks in the game, and the buildings and environments in the new images are beautifully designed.

I had a feeling the game would be shown at the State of Play event this weekend because the series has always been closely linked with PlayStation. It seems very likely now. I also think we’ll find out when it’s coming out today.

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is a fresh take on the very first Tomb Raider game, created to mark the series’ 30th anniversary. A completely new game, Tomb Raider: Catalyst, is planned for release next year.
