Originally revealed in April, the game’s launch today is a pleasant surprise for fans of Game of Thrones, particularly those excited for the upcoming third season of House of the Dragon. Players who signed up early will get extra in-game money and items, and there are also gifts for anyone new to the game.
Game of Thrones: Dragonfire Is the Perfect Game for GoT Fans
Game of Thrones: Dragonfire takes place alongside season 3 of the House of the Dragon spin-off series. The game will feature all the characters and locations from the show, and includes a complete guide to the story, character backgrounds, and how to play.
Okay, so when the game launches, there are 28 totally different dragons you can hatch, raise, and then command in battle! Plus, you’ll recognize a lot of characters from the show because there are multiple factions to choose from. Basically, you’re fighting to control King’s Landing, using your brain and your dragon army to become the ultimate power.
I’m really excited about Game of Thrones: Dragonfire! From what I’ve heard, each season – they’re calling them ‘Reins’ and they’ll last eight weeks – is going to be totally unique thanks to special events and quests. Plus, you can join up with other players in factions – basically co-op guilds – to unlock extra story content and experience the game in different ways. It sounds like a lot of replayability!
