The Silent Hill PS5 Streak Continues in Townfall, Out on 24th September

Good news for Silent Hill fans! Silent Hill: Townfall was featured in the recent State of Play presentation, and it’s officially coming to PS5 on September 24th, 2026. Check out the new trailer above to get a sneak peek.

Simon Ordell returns to the island of St. Amelia, tasked with resolving an unknown issue. He finds the town shrouded in fog and appearing deserted, yet strangely unsettled. As he explores further, Simon seeks to understand his link to the island and its people, slowly uncovering pieces of a hidden history.

Before today’s State of Play presentation, Silent Hill: Townfall received its official age rating from the ESRB. This likely means we’ll see an update about the game tonight, possibly revealing a confirmed release date for the PS5.

The game is rated Mature due to its blood, strong language, and violent content. The game’s story is detailed on the website, and it warns players about graphic scenes. Specifically, the campaign will include moments like a character stabbing someone and a man being devoured by a monster.

With Silent Hill: Townfall confirmed for PS5 and PC, the upcoming State of Play presentation is the most probable place we’ll hear more about it. Sony previously dedicated a segment of their February State of Play to Konami, showcasing Townfall alongside Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 and Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse.

After the exciting news about Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill F, I’m really looking forward to the next installment in the series. Silent Hill: Townfall, set in Scotland, is looking promising, and I’m excited to learn when it will be released. There’s a good chance we’ll get an announcement tonight!
