The gritty first-person shooter ILL is nearing release, now with wishlists open on PlayStation 5. Be warned though – the new trailer is extremely graphic and not for the faint of heart.
If you’ve seen this game before, you won’t be surprised by what’s here: it features extremely violent and gruesome scenes, including some of the most disturbing dismemberment I’ve encountered in a video game.
The latest trailer actually looks like a finished product, not just a test version. With a release now expected in 2027, it feels like we’re getting closer to seeing the final result.

ILL is a scary, first-person action game where you explore a creepy, abandoned fort haunted by an unknown force. It features a dark and unsettling story, surprising and frightening creatures, and a realistic combat system with brutal dismemberment. Combined with realistic physics, the game aims to create a truly terrifying experience.
