Okay, so as a movie buff, I can tell you, you never steal the show from the happy couple, right? Well, let me tell you, Vicki Fowler was NOT pleased when Max Branning decided her wedding to Ross Marshall was the perfect time to propose to someone else. It was a total scene!
Feeling judged for his relationship with Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), the EastEnders character decided to propose to show everyone how serious he was.
Cindy was completely shocked. They hadn’t been dating long, and she wasn’t prepared for a marriage proposal.
Everyone in Walford gathered around Max to scold him, but he insisted it was all a joke and he hadn’t meant to cause harm. Cindy was really upset when she discovered the engagement ring had just been left on a table, and quickly went back to the party.
Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) attempted to comfort her, suggesting she’d be fine on her own, but Cindy insisted they were still a couple and needed to work on fixing their relationship.
Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) checked in with Max to see how he was doing. She told him that the way he talked about Cindy when he proposed was completely inappropriate, and it wasn’t surprising she’d turned him down.
Down on his luck, he offered to walk her home.
However, dear reader, it wasn’t Linda who tried to seduce Max!
Meanwhile, Priya Nandra-Hart was trying to seduce Zack Hudson, but he wasn’t interested. His affair with Vicki had just been revealed, and he wasn’t looking for another intimate encounter.
After Ravi broke up with her, Priya was clearly upset and started drinking. Eve noticed she was down and asked her to dance, but Priya worried her wife, Suki, would be jealous if she accepted.
The couple laughed at the suggestion, and were gobsmacked when she tried to plant a kiss on Eve.
I was just sitting by myself in the car lot, lost in thought, when Priya suddenly showed up. She was after more to drink, and ended up asking me to lead her back to my place to find some.
Priya and her colleague discussed their recent setbacks, and Priya took a chance by flirting with her boss.
Will he be able to resist temptation? Let’s be real, this is Max Branning, so probably not.
