Similar to the updates for Final Fantasy 7 Remake on Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch, Square Enix has added a selection of cheats to the PlayStation 5 version of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
A new update is available now for PS5. Once you download it, you’ll get access to what the developers are calling “streamlined progression features.”
- Constant Max HP
- Constant Max MP
- Limit Gauge Always Full
- Constant Max Synergy
- ATB Gauge Always Full
- Constant Max Damage
- Max Damage: Minigames
- 2x EXP & 3x AP Gain
- Easy Weapon Ability Acquisition
- More Materials Collected
- Constant Max Gil
- Constant Max Recovery Items
- Max Materia Levels
If the game’s settings function like they did in Final Fantasy 7 Remake, using cheats won’t prevent you from earning Trophies.
The update also includes a “New Game — Head Start” option that lets you begin the game at level 65, just five levels below the maximum level of 70. This makes the game significantly easier. You can find this option on the main menu, and in-game cheats are accessible through the pause menu.
The patch notes also clarify that a few “additional minor bugs” have been fixed.
