Developer Milestone just revealed Hot Wheels Infinite Rush, a new racing game inspired by the popular Hot Wheels toy cars. The game was announced at Summer Game Fest 2026 with a trailer showing a minute and a half of actual gameplay footage. You can watch the trailer below.
Okay, so I just saw the trailer for Hot Wheels Infinite Rush and it looks amazing! It seems like you’ll be able to drive around a huge, open world, but it’s not trying to be super realistic. Instead, they’re really embracing the fun, over-the-top side of Hot Wheels with the city design and all the crazy cars. And the trailer ends with what looks like an actual race, with a bunch of drivers competing on a track that’s literally made out of Hot Wheels track pieces! It looks like a blast.
The game’s trailer suggests players will be able to drive almost anywhere, including beaches. It’s still unclear exactly how diverse and expansive the open world will be, though.
When it comes to playing with others, Hot Wheels Infinite Rush will let players on most platforms play together, except for the Nintendo Switch 2. You can also play locally with up to four friends using split-screen. The game will launch with over 150 different vehicles to collect and race.
Milestone has announced three versions of Hot Wheels Infinite Rush: Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate. The Standard Edition comes with the core game and a bonus vehicle pack (‘Boost’n’Slide’) if you pre-order. The Deluxe Edition includes the base game, the ‘Boost’n’Slide’ pack, the ‘Feel the Heat’ pack, and access to 44 additional vehicles. Pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition gets you everything in the Standard Edition plus the ‘Feel the Heat’ pack and two extra cars for each pack.
The Ultimate Edition of Hot Wheels Infinite Rush includes all the content from the Deluxe Edition, plus the Ferrari Expansion Pack. This pack adds a Ferrari-themed island and eight unique Ferrari Hot Wheels cars. You’ll also receive the Car Collection Pack and get to play three days early. As a bonus, the Ultimate Edition also includes the Bone Shaker Skeletor Edition.
Get ready to race! Hot Wheels Infinite Rush will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch starting September 24th.
