Proof Goldie Hawn’s Granddaughter Rio Is Her Mini-Me

Goldie Hawn has another rising star on her hands.

In New York City, the actress attended the red carpet event alongside her family to honor her son, Oliver Hudson, for his part in “Happy Gilmore 2”. However, it was her 12-year-old granddaughter who drew all the attention that night.

Certainly, on July 21st, Oliver and his spouse Erinn Bartlett’s daughter Rio seemed to be a spitting image of her great-grandmother. The preteen exuded joy while sporting a yellow bohemian-style dress, mirroring Goldie’s blue bohemian dress worn at the same event.

The pair exchanged warm smiles, drawing near while standing with Oliver, Erinn, and their teenage boys, Wilder (17) and Bodhi (14).

However, Rio’s walk on the red carpet isn’t the sole indication of her readiness to make an impact; in truth, she is prepared and eager to emulate the path taken by her renowned relatives, such as her aunt Kate Hudson.

Oliver shared with Access Hollywood that she desires it,” Oliver said. “She’s a fantastic dancer, and dance seems to be deeply ingrained within her. However, we plan to focus on plays initially.

As for Goldie, Rio’s determination echoes Kate’s willingness to start her career.

Goldie, at 79 years old, expressed during their shared interview that it seemed like there was no other option available to them, much like Kate in the situation. She believes that they, too, are not given a choice in the matter.

“All I want her to be is happy,” the Overboard star added. “I don’t care about anything else.”

And as for Rio, she was born for this moment.

Rio shared with Access that he really enjoys being among others,” said Rio. “In fact, they all seem to have a knack for performing, and our bond is quite powerful.

Without hesitation, Oliver proudly showcased his daughter’s gift. Just recently, he posted a video of Rio performing an off-the-cuff interpretative dance while he playfully crooned Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On.

In a humorous manner, Oliver playfully announced a potential tour on his Instagram post dated July 12, saying, “The show is going mobile! Keep an eye out for cities and dates!
