Crunchyroll has quietly released a highly anticipated English dub, and it’s available to watch now. Getting English dubs for anime is much simpler these days – there are more of them being made each season, and they’re coming out faster than ever. This means fans don’t have to wait long for dubbed versions of both new series and special features like movies and OVAs.
Fans of the anime Given now have more ways to enjoy the series. Given first aired as a TV anime in 2019 and was followed by three movies. The second movie was actually released in two parts and premiered in Japan in 2024. While the films were available on Crunchyroll last year, English dubs of both Given the Movie: Hiiragi Mix and Given the Movie: To the Sea are now available for streaming.
New Given Movies Release English Dubs With Crunchyroll

The concluding films for the Given anime series, Given The Movie: Hiiragi Mix and Given The Movie: To the Sea, are now available on Crunchyroll. Fans in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS regions can enjoy both the original Japanese audio and the English dub. Directed by Noriko Hashimoto and produced by Studio Lerche (the team behind the anime series), these films complete the adaptation of Natsuki Kizu’s manga, giving dub viewers the long-awaited conclusion to the story.
I’ve been watching these films, and they’re really well done. Yuniko Ayana wrote the script, Mina Osawa designed the characters, and Michiru composed the music – a fantastic team! Many of the original voice actors are back too, including Brandon McInnis as Mafuyu Satou, Josh Grelle as Ritsuka Uenoyama, Y. Chang as Haruki Nakayama, and Jonah Scott as Akihiko Kaji. Considering how long fans have waited for this, now’s a great time to jump in – you can stream it all on Crunchyroll.
What to Know for Given’s Movie Finales

I’ve been reading up on what to expect from the new Given movies, and Crunchyroll describes the first part of the finale like this: It all started when Ritsuka Uenoyama met Mafuyu Sato, and Mafuyu really sparked Ritsuka’s love for music again. Their combined talents – Mafuyu’s voice and Ritsuka’s guitar – are what truly propelled the band, “Given,” forward. However, it looks like Mafuyu’s past is resurfacing and his feelings for Ritsuka are becoming more complicated, which is starting to shift their relationship.
Crunchyroll is building anticipation for the end of Given The Movie: To the Sea. The story follows Ritsuka Uenoyama, whose love for music returns when he meets singer Mafuyu Sato. As their band, Given, starts to gain momentum, Mafuyu begins to doubt if he’s the right vocalist. After hesitating to join Ritsuka at a concert, Mafuyu unexpectedly reconnects with someone from his past – a meeting that might give him the confidence to sing again.
