After a recent reveal, Persona 4 Revival will be available to play very soon.
Atlus announced that they’ll be sharing a detailed look at the remake’s story, characters, and how the game plays next Thursday, June 18th.
Fans won’t want to miss this event! The new trailer gives us a glimpse of some gameplay updates, but many details are still unknown.
One frequent complaint about the original Persona 4 and Persona 4 Golden is that the dungeons are quite repetitive and simple. Hopefully, the upcoming game, Revival, will improve upon this aspect.
The updated combat system looks promising. The remake seems to be heavily inspired by Persona 3 Reload, featuring a baton pass mechanic and unique super attacks for each character.
I don’t expect Revival to drastically change the original story, but I think it will definitely explore the connections between characters in more detail. Reload did a fantastic job with that approach, and it makes sense Revival would do something similar.
