Tom Hanks Shares Marriage Advice for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce

Tom Hanks is sweet on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s love story.

The Academy Award winner offered some wise advice to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce before their wedding.

Tom Hanks, who has been married to Rita Wilson for 38 years, jokingly said at the premiere of his new Pixar film in Los Angeles on June 9th that ‘the man must make the waffles on Sunday.’ He shared this with TopMob News.

The 69-year-old actor, who has voiced Woody since the first Toy Story film in 1995, said he was happily surprised by Taylor Swift’s song, “I Knew It, I Knew You.”

Hanks said he found out about it the day it was released, playfully calling the secrecy “diabolical.” He joked that the people in charge don’t fully trust him and have a core group of decision-makers he isn’t included in, so he simply follows instructions.

And for Swift, it was a dream come true to have her music featured in the iconic franchise.

Sharing a post on Instagram in June, the 36-year-old playfully called it a ‘Toy Story,’ explaining that they’d always wanted to write for the characters they’ve loved ever since seeing the original Toy Story movie as a child.

She explained that she immediately loved Toy Story 5 after seeing an early version, and she was inspired to write the song on the way home. She added that sometimes you just have that instant feeling.

Taylor has found a strong connection with Kelce, and the couple became engaged last summer after dating for two years.

Okay, so get this – Travis actually talked about me on his podcast! It was the cutest, most amazing thing ever, honestly. I thought it was so cool he’d even mention me! He’d been jokingly ribbing me about not being able to meet up at one of my Eras Tour shows, and then…well, we started hanging out pretty much right after that. I was completely obsessed, obviously!

She added, “By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple.”
