There isn’t a filmmaker in the world more synonymous with thrilling big screen entertainment than Steven Spielberg β and so when the legendary director has a new film out, it’s always worth paying attention.
This is particularly true with big summer movies, especially when he gets to explore a subject he’s passionate about, like in his latest film, Disclosure Day.
As with his classics Close Encounters of the Third Kind and ET: The Extra-Terrestrial, the new film is concerned with UFO visits to Earth β following a whistle blower and weather presenter who are brought together as they plan to expose a vast government cover-up.
Josh O’Connor and Emily Blunt star in the film, alongside a talented supporting cast featuring Colin Firth, Colman Domingo, Eve Hewson, and Wyatt Russell.

How to watch Disclosure Day β is it streaming?
Considering Steven Spielberg is a legendary filmmaker, itβs understandable that this movie is debuting in theaters and wonβt be on streaming right away.
It was released in the UK on Wednesday 10 June and is playing in all major cinemas around the country β so there should be no shortage of options for you if you want to see it imminently.
When will Disclosure Day be released on streaming?

Of course, once the theatrical window has run it’s course, the film will eventually be available to watch at home β first of all to rent or buy on Premium Video on Demand platforms and then possibly on a subscription streaming service.
At time of writing, no official word has been revealed as to exactly when the digital release date might be. However, we’d expect that β at the very least β the film will have a 45 day exclusive theatrical run.
With that in mind, the very earliest we’d imagine it might start popping up on digital platforms is late July, although it could yet be later than that. We’ll be keeping an eye out for any official updates.
