The new three-part Netflix drama, The Witness, tells the story of the 1992 murder of Rachel Nickell on Wimbledon Common. While the series does cover the police investigation, its main focus is on the emotional journey of her partner and son – who was only two years old at the time and the sole witness – as they try to rebuild their lives.
The new season is coming to Netflix as people are still watching popular recent shows like The Boroughs, an offering from the creators of Stranger Things, and Legends, a compelling drama inspired by true events and featuring Steve Coogan and Tom Burke.
