Ali Brunson and Shannon Hart definitely aren’t the ones to tell Taylor Swift, Mariska Hargitay, Timothée Chalamet, or any of the other celebrities at Madison Square Garden to relax – they’re enjoying the energy!
Because they’re certainly not being too loud.
Ali Brunson, who married New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson in 2023, praised the team’s fans in a recent interview with TopMob News. She described them as incredibly dedicated, enthusiastically cheering and shouting during games.
The energy they provide the team in the NBA Finals is quite the assist, agreed Shannon.
People often assume celebrities only come to events for photos and to be seen,” said the nurse who married basketball player Josh Hart in 2021. “But those who get invited to actually be on the court at such a famous arena really get into it – they’re jumping, cheering, and fully engaged in the excitement.”
In other words, neither Swift’s dance moves nor her kitschy tees will ever go out of style.
Shannon explained that while seeing familiar faces like Hargitay at games is common, she’s still most excited when celebrities she doesn’t usually see attend. “I think I get more star-struck when I see celebrities that don’t usually come,” she said.
Stars like Taylor Swift, Timothée Chalamet with his girlfriend Kylie Jenner, Adam Sandler, Spike Lee, and Ben Stiller were all in attendance for the exciting Game 4 win. Speaking to TopMob, one fan said, “It’s been crazy with the games, and more and more people are showing up, which is really cool.”

The New York team is currently the center of attention, as they aim to win their first NBA championship in over 50 years at Game 5 in San Antonio on June 13th.
Ali, the founder of The AMB Method, observed that the city has a unique energy. He added that this year, it feels particularly different, even compared to the beginning of the season.
The vibrant display of Knicks colors all over New York City gave them the idea to showcase another popular pairing: Reese’s Oreo Cups.
“It just feels right for where we’re at right now,” said Shannon, 31. “Plus, peanut butter and Oreos are an amazing combination – who could say no?”
Particularly when stress-eating your way through a nail-biter like June 10’s wild comeback.
“That game was unbelievable,” Ali said. “I’ve never experienced an atmosphere like it—the energy in the arena was amazing.”
As the team got closer and closer to an amazing win, all 20,000 fans were completely captivated. “I don’t think we’ll ever witness a game quite like it,” said the 30-year-old physical therapist. “It was truly historic – an unbelievable experience.”
If the game becomes close again, they’re prepared with a strategy to handle the pressure.
Both Shannon and her future husband were supportive of each other’s college athletics – she cheered him on at Villanova University, while she herself played soccer at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
After supporting her husband through over a decade of games and tough situations – including comebacks and high-pressure moments – Shannon feels she’s able to stay calm heading into each one. She’s experienced a lot and feels prepared.

It’s definitely exciting when things get intense, like during a close play at the basket or when we’re trying to come back from a big deficit – your heart races then! But leading up to those moments, I try to stay calm, trust my teammates, and believe in their ability to perform.
Even though these athletes are good at blocking out distractions, they really appreciate having the support of their biggest fans. Here’s a look at who’s cheering on some of the NBA’s top players.

Jordyn Woods got exactly what she wished for this Christmas: a proposal from Karl-Anthony Towns! The model playfully posted on Instagram with the caption “Marry Christmas,” alongside photos of the basketball player getting down on one knee at Overstory, a stylish bar high up in New York City’s skyline.
Okay, everyone’s been talking about her amazing ring since 2024, and it is stunning, but what I truly love about their relationship is how much fun they have together. It’s the real heart of it all. She actually said it herself back in 2021, on her Instagram show, Regular-ish, that dating your best friend is just… different. They know each other, truly. They understand what makes each other tick, the good and the bad, and they’ve already been through so much together. It’s just a really solid foundation, and it’s so clear how comfortable and happy they are with each other.

Coco Jones wasn’t trying to keep her relationship with basketball player Donovan Mitchell a secret, she just wasn’t ready to talk about it publicly. “I don’t like feeling like I have to hide a relationship or make someone feel like they belong to me,” Jones explained on the Club Shay Shay show in March 2025. “I prefer not to be secretive.”
The actress from Bel-Air explained that she values her privacy, saying, “I’m focused on protecting myself, my family, and the people I care about.”
She seems to really need her fiancé, the seven-time NBA All-Star, who publicly shared a video of his beachside proposal in July 2025. As she prepares to get married, she described the feeling to TopMob News at the 2026 Grammys as something beyond words. “I’ve been to countless events, planned everything down to the details, and worn incredible outfits,” she said, “but this is just…unexplainable.”

When Jayson Tatum suffered a serious Achilles injury during the 2025 playoffs, he considered retiring from basketball. As the Boston Celtics star forward told TopMob News, he briefly wondered if he’d “accomplished enough.” However, it was his family who encouraged him to continue playing, reminding him of those who would be disappointed if he quit.
He brought along his sons, Deuce (from a previous relationship) and Dylan, as well as his girlfriend, singer Ella Mai. The six-time All-Star said he wanted to use the moment to teach his kids a lesson. “I wanted to show them what I was going through and that everyone faces choices in life,” he explained. “I wanted them to think about what choices they would make in a similar situation.”
They made a deliberate choice not to publicly discuss the details of their relationship, which has lasted over five years. As she explained in a December 2025 interview, she never officially announced it herself, leaving some unsure of how to address it. However, she emphasized that she isn’t hiding the fact that she has a child, stating simply, ‘I have a child.’
She’s quite gifted, and I’m careful not to force her music on our child. I don’t want her to feel like I was constantly pushing it on him growing up,” she explained to TopMob about becoming a mother in 2024. “But I definitely make an effort to play a lot of music when we’re together.

Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers first met his future wife, Anne de Palma, at a dinner with a friend in 2018. It wasn’t love at first sight, though – according to de Palma in a 2021 interview with ESPN, their relationship began as a strong friendship.
Both of them moved to the U.S. – he came from Cameroon as a teenager to pursue basketball, and she, a Brazilian model, started working at age 14. They quickly discovered they both spoke French and enjoyed playing soccer. They talked on FaceTime every day at first, but she soon realized he was incredibly supportive and inspiring. He just naturally wants to help others succeed.
In September 2020, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model and seven-time All-Star welcomed their son, Arthur, named after her brother who tragically passed away in a car accident in 2014. The couple later married in the Hamptons. Speaking to ESPN, de Palma praised the 76ers center, saying he inspires everyone around him to be their best selves – exactly the kind of person you want in your life.

A’ja Wilson, a star player for the Las Vegas Aces and a four-time WNBA MVP (as of 2025), is a key source of support for her boyfriend, Bam Adebayo. When Adebayo, a star center for the Miami Heat, broke Kobe Bryant’s record by scoring 83 points against the Washington Wizards on March 10, 2026, he acknowledged the important role she plays in his success.
It’s really special to watch her play her first game here,” said the three-time All-Star in a video posted on social media by the NBA. “Seeing everything she does behind the scenes—the training, our talks—is incredibly motivating. You can’t help but be inspired by her, and I’m grateful to have her in my life.”
She also expressed gratitude for the support she’s received. When South Carolina retired her jersey in 2025, Wilson said she wouldn’t be where she is without the love and sacrifices of many people, and how happy she was to have loved ones – including a special Olympian visitor – there to share the moment.

WNBA star Angel Reese recently said on her podcast, Unapologetically Angel, that she’s decided to keep her romantic life private. She explained that she won’t be publicly announcing any relationships until she’s married. While she might go on dates, she doesn’t plan on sharing pictures of any partners on social media – ‘You’re gonna have to catch me,’ she joked.
As a huge fan, I’ve been following all the hints, and it definitely seems like Angel Reese – or ‘Bayou Barbie’ as we call her – has found someone special! It looks like she’s dating Wendell Carter Jr., the center for the Orlando Magic. She posted this amazing video of roses on TikTok with the caption “That’s a sign,” which had everyone buzzing, and then he showed up to the WNBA All-Star game wearing a t-shirt with her face on it! It was such a sweet and public display of support – they’re clearly into each other.
The college champion, who will be on the second season of The Hunting Wives, showed her support by going to a Magic basketball game in December 2025. She wore a jersey with “My Man” written on it.

Model Winnie Harlow is still carefully planning her wedding to Milwaukee Bucks player Kyle Kuzma. She told TopMob News in September 2025 that they’re working on finalizing details so the planning process can move forward smoothly. This comes seven months after Kuzma proposed during a Valentine’s Day getaway to Turks and Caicos.
As someone who really embraces a relaxed lifestyle, my ideal setting is all about warmth and movement! I’m definitely an ‘island vibe’ kind of person – give me sunshine and plenty of opportunities to dance, and I’m happy. That just feels like me.
Kyle Kuzma is sure to contribute some important plays on the court, especially after his recent engagement. He revealed to Vogue that he didn’t ask his fiancée about her ring preferences beforehand. Instead, he designed an 8.5-carat ring hoping to capture her essence—something elegant, classic, and simple all at once.

Rapper GloRilla, from Memphis, was happy to see a play made by Grizzlies forward Brandon Ingram during the team’s Thanksgiving game against the New Orleans Pelicans in 2024. When asked about it, she told Complex magazine in 2025, “That’s all I’m going to say!”
She excitedly responded with “Let’s go!” when asked about the two-time All-Star, who now plays for the Toronto Raptors. After dating for over a year, she told Complex that she prefers to keep their relationship private. “We don’t really showcase our romance publicly,” she explained.
Occasionally, though, she really lets loose and shows off her skills. In an Instagram post from January 2026, she playfully wrote, “Might let him dunk this like he dunks the balllll.”

Long before LeBron James won championships with teammates like Dwyane Wade, Kyrie Irving, and Anthony Davis, Savannah Brinson was his most important partner. They first met on a date at an Outback Steakhouse in Akron, Ohio, and at the time, Savannah – a cheerleader and softball player – had no idea the basketball player from a rival high school would become an NBA superstar. As she told Harper’s Bazaar, she initially thought his fame would be limited to their hometown and wouldn’t last.
About ten years later, she married the top pick from the 2003 draft in a glamorous ceremony. The event was so famous that Beyoncé and Jay-Z even performed their song “Crazy in Love.”
Now living in Los Angeles with their three children – and James playing for the Lakers – he shared a heartfelt message in November 2019 praising his wife. He wrote that her unwavering support is the only reason he’s able to succeed both professionally and personally, playfully adding, “I’m just the car, she’s the engine!”

Kawhi Leonard, a two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year for the Los Angeles Clippers, is very private about his personal life. He and his longtime partner, Kishele Shipley, who he met at San Diego State University, have been together for over a decade, but they haven’t publicly confirmed whether they are married. In April 2019, fans were surprised to learn Kawhi missed a game because Shipley had given birth to their second child, a son named Mark Leonard. Neither Leonard nor Shipley has a public Instagram account.
According to former coach Gregg Popovich, Kawhi Leonard isn’t interested in fame. Even his daughter, Kaliyah Leonard, doesn’t seem fazed by his success – when the Toronto Raptors won the championship in 2019, the four-year-old fell asleep during the victory parade!

It’s surprising, but NBA star Steph Curry was initially rejected when he tried to kiss his now-wife, Ayesha. Back when Steph was playing college basketball at Davidson, he went for a kiss with Ayesha – someone he’d known from youth group – and she actually turned her head away.
She happily shared with TopMob News’ Jason Kennedy in October 2017, “We got a second chance!” A few years after their first kiss at his parents’ house in Charlotte, he proposed to her in the same spot. He later told Parents magazine, “It felt like something out of The Notebook.”
After getting married in 2011, Ayesha and her husband soon discovered they were expecting their first child, little Riley, who would later become known for charming the media. Ayesha worried this would make it difficult to establish herself in her career.
Over the past decade, Alex has expanded her family with three more children – Ryan (born in 2015), Canon (in 2018), and Caius (in 2024). She’s also built a successful lifestyle brand and now works as a cookbook author, appears on the Food Network, models, and dedicates herself to philanthropy.
Please don’t refer to her as a “basketball wife.” As she rightly noted to ABC News, “My husband wouldn’t call himself a ‘chef’s wife,’ so the label doesn’t really fit.”

It’s sweet when someone consistently shows who they are! Back in 2016, basketball player Bradley Beal took his then-girlfriend to the top of a Ferris wheel in Las Vegas and asked her to be his girlfriend. Four years and two sons, Bradley Jr. and Braylon, later, he recreated the moment on a Ferris wheel in Maryland. In a clip from January 2020, the three-time All-Star proposed, asking her to be his wife.
She enthusiastically said yes! The founder of XO By Kamiah shared that she couldn’t imagine her life with anyone else. She and her husband welcomed their third son, Braxton, in 2022 before getting married. She also expressed her gratitude for his support in helping her grow as a person and encouraging her to constantly improve.

Ayahna Cornish-Lowry, a standout basketball player at St. Joe’s College for two years running in the mid-2000s, is more than just a fan in the stands. She told Canadian lifestyle website The Kit in 2019 that she likes being near the game and actively watches all the players – not just her husband, Kyle Lowry. As a mother to sons Karter and Kameron Lowry, she enjoys taking in the full scope of the action.
She isn’t just watching Kyle; she studies the entire Philadelphia 76ers’ playbook. “I try to get a feel for everything the team does and how they operate, looking at the game with a basketball perspective,” she explained.
She isn’t hesitant to offer her opinion on how the six-time All-Star and Olympic gold medalist is playing. She explained that he often seeks her input, even during game timeouts – they’ve been close since high school at Cardinal Dougherty in Philadelphia. She tries to subtly point out things she notices during the game, hoping he’ll understand.

Draymond Green, the Warriors’ energetic four-time All-Star, is known for being direct – so it’s no surprise his January 2019 proposal to Hazel Renee was extravagant. He swept her away on a helicopter ride to a yacht packed with loved ones, including their children Olive and Draymond Jr. The proposal included a six-carat diamond ring from Jason of Beverly Hills, and the news was even shared with the media by Warriors coach Steve Kerr.
The couple originally planned to renew their wedding vows during a trip to the Olympics, but COVID-19 changed those plans. Instead, they welcomed their daughter, Cash, in October 2020, which became a special milestone for them.
He shared in a 2020 birthday message that their life together had been wonderful. He also praised his partner for always being a strong support for the whole family, through both happy and difficult moments.
The couple married in 2022, with their wedding photos appearing in Vogue. They then welcomed their daughter, Hunni, in 2023, and another child in February 2026.

Oh my gosh, you guys, it’s just so cute! I’ve been following Russell Westbrook for ages, and I stumbled upon this old Instagram video from March 2020 – it totally melted my heart. He was just beaming, cheering on his wife, Nina, as she was sinking shot after shot! But get this – Nina isn’t just a supportive wife, she’s incredible herself! Apparently, back in her UCLA days, she was one of their fastest players, and that’s how they met! She saw Russell – yes, the Russell Westbrook – nailing a breakaway dunk and winking at her! People say she told him he played well that night, and he actually replied with something like, ‘It’s easy to play like that when you have someone to play for!’ Seriously, they’re relationship goals. And now Nina is a licensed marriage therapist?! I knew they were perfect for each other!
After ten years, they continue to run their Why Not? foundation while also raising their son Noah and twin daughters Skye and Jordyn. They still make time for simple pleasures like a quiet dinner and movie night at home. She recently shared on Father’s Day that he’ll do anything to make their children happy, calling him a fun-loving and devoted father.

It’s become a running joke whether Kevin Love, the Utah Jazz player, or Kate Bock, a regular in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue since 2013, gets more attention in the magazine. But Love isn’t jealous at all! He publicly congratulated Bock on her 2020 cover, writing that it perfectly captured her beauty and expressing how proud he was of her.
Over a year after proposing to his future wife at a January 2021 birthday party, the five-time All-Star basketball player married her at the New York Public Library.
Kate described their wedding vision as a classic, black-and-white New York City celebration inspired by The Great Gatsby, telling Vogue that dreaming up the overall theme came easily. The challenge, she explained, was in all the little details – from choosing the right fabrics to figuring out seating arrangements and getting-ready locations.
The couple quickly began planning for the future, welcoming their daughter James in June 2023, followed by her little sister Leighton on Valentine’s Day in 2025.

It’s clear Chris Paul is a big deal when you look at who attended his wedding! LeBron James and his wife were in the wedding party, and other huge stars like Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Gabrielle Union, LaLa Anthony, Ludacris, and Kevin Hart all came to celebrate with him and Jada Crawley back in 2011. Robin Thicke even performed as their wedding musician.
Although a performance by gospel singer BeBe Winans and a beautiful display of around 10,000 flowers were part of the event, the Thunder’s 12-time All-Star values his key teammate above all else.
From the moment they met at Wake Forest University, he’s been deeply in love with Jada. The retired basketball player told Essence magazine that she’s supported him through everything, good times and bad. He also shared that knowing a career in basketball won’t last forever, he cherishes their time together; Jada is a philanthropist and mother to Christopher II and Camryn, and they genuinely enjoy each other’s company.

When it comes to accolades in the Horford family, it’s actually Al Horford’s wife who’s the real star. Amelia Vega is a model and singer who was crowned both Miss Dominican Republic in 2002 and Miss Universe in 2003.
The five-time All-Star, originally from the Dominican Republic, knew early on that he’d found his life partner. It took a couple of meetings to confirm it – the first at the Latin Pride Awards in Boston, and the second four years later while collaborating on a campaign to help children with cancer – but he was quickly confident they were meant to be.
In 2013, the Warriors player told Latina magazine that it quickly became clear his girlfriend was ‘the one.’ He said, ‘I used to make fun of people who talked about feeling a connection like that, but with her, it just felt right. I knew I wanted to marry her.’
After over ten years of marriage, former University of Florida athlete and father of five – Ean, Alía, Ava, Nova, and Mila – says married life is fantastic. He’s building a wonderful life with his wife, who owns a boutique in Miami. “We’re creating something special together,” he shared.

In 2008, while playing as a freshman for UCLA’s basketball team, Jrue Holiday was mistaken for his teammate, Darren Collison, by a fan at a women’s basketball game. Lauren Holiday, who played soccer for UCLA, playfully intervened, telling the fan, “Don’t worry, you’re cuter than Darren.”
Their first meeting was incredibly sweet, but what happened next was even more remarkable. After retiring from professional soccer, including winning a World Cup and two Olympic gold medals, she discovered she had a brain tumor while five months pregnant. Without hesitation, her husband, an NBA player, took a leave of absence from his career in 2016 to support her through the successful removal of the tumor.
Oh my gosh, seeing Jrue and Hendricks with their dad just melts my heart! Lauren said it perfectly in her Father’s Day post – he shows us what true, unconditional love really is. Seriously, whether he’s having the best day ever or a tough one, he’s always there for his kids, and they never feel like they’re getting anything less than his all. It’s just…everything!

Not long after finishing his college basketball career at Butler University, retired forward Gordon Hayward proposed to Robyn Hayward, a recent high school graduate, on Christmas Eve in 2013. They married the following May, and since then, these two athletes – she was a star volleyball player in high school – have been building their family together.
In September 2020, Gordon welcomed his son, Theo, joining his other children: daughters Bernie, Charlie, and Nora. This happened while Gordon was playing with the Boston Celtics in the NBA bubble.
Life with four little ones is definitely… lively! Between managing playdates, personalities, and everything in between, it’s a full house. I’ve been sharing glimpses of our daily chaos – Bernie’s the sweet one, Charlie marches to her own beat, Nora is surprisingly assertive (she definitely keeps Theo in line!), and little Theo just rolls with it all. It’s beautiful, messy, and exhausting! I recently joked with my husband, Gordon, online about whether we might even consider adding another baby to the mix. We haven’t said no… yet!
