Mafia: The Old Country is coming to PS5 very soon, arriving next week on 8th August, 2025.
Before its release, the official sources for the game have recently disclosed additional information on the visual modes available in Unreal Engine 5’s upcoming crime drama production.
Fundamentally, the PS5 variant offers both Performance and Quality settings, much like many other significant releases do these days.
In simple terms, the post indicates that the game runs at an average of 60 frames per second when played in Performance mode. On the other hand, Quality mode offers a higher resolution and improved visual quality.
Additionally, it’s significant to point out that the PS5 Pro isn’t mentioned anywhere, suggesting that there might not be any exclusive upgrades for the console during its initial release.
It seems that the PlayStation Store listing does not display the “PS5 Pro Enhanced” tag for this game. While it might run smoother on a PlayStation Pro console by default, we can’t be completely certain until we have an opportunity to test it out ourselves.
As a gamer, I’m excited about the latest gameplay trailer I saw, which was recorded on a PlayStation 5 Pro. It seems like this version could enhance the gaming experience somehow.
Anyway, there’s just a week to go until we can get firm answers on that front.
Hey fellow gamers! I can’t wait to dive into the world of Mafia: The Old Country on my brand new PlayStation 5! When it comes to playing this game, I’m torn between the Performance and Quality modes. I know that Performance mode will give me smooth gameplay with less graphical details, while Quality mode will offer stunning visuals at the cost of some performance. What do you guys think? Which mode are you planning to choose when you play Mafia: The Old Country on PS5? Let’s discuss in the comments below!
