The initial “Castlevania” animated series, produced by Adi Shankar and written by Warren Ellis, aired on Netflix from 2017 to 2021 across four seasons, often praised as one of the greatest video game adaptations ever made. Its successor, “Castlevania: Nocturne”, has sustained this acclaim and is anticipated for a third season, although Netflix has yet to officially announce it. When we mention a “Castlevania: Complete Series” Blu-ray box set, we’re referring to the original run. Fans of the show will be pleased to learn that the striking artwork from the series has been preserved in the design for this comprehensive collection.

Castlevania: Nocturne Season Three Ideas
Lately, Samuel Deats sat down with Collider for a chat about potential storylines for the future of Nocturne. Given that the gaming saga delves into multiple narratives spanning timelines and even different universes, there’s a wealth of content for the animated series to draw upon. If the current series is extended, Deats is keen on delving into one of the most cherished tales in the series – Symphony of the Night – should it continue.
Deats expressed that they have aimed to create an adaptation of “Symphony of the Night” in the past, but due to the expansive Castlevania universe and the uncertainty surrounding the future of the series between seasons, there has been a pause. However, he remains optimistic about the franchise’s continued success, hinting at potential developments in the coming weeks. Despite any delays, he believes there are many exciting possibilities for the series that fans would appreciate.
